the new ranked champ select pisses me off

what the hell is with the lock in bs. sure it prevents afkers but half the time it prevents decent, present, players from playing too, now. I mean so many bloody times, already, I simply forget to fk'n lock in so I get kicked and have to wait forever when I'm just trying to play a quick fk'n game. why not instead of this stupid lock in make an intuitive system that recognizes input of any kind. I mean if someone is at the computer and has picked a champion within that 40 seconds then obviously they are not afk. if they are talking in the chat then they are obviously not afk. and if they make a last second pick then they are obviously not afk. This lock in bs is too mich like work, like punching a time card ffs. mostly this is supposed to be A GAME. Why is RIOT making it so annoying to play? "no, you can't play for half an hour because you didn't push that button. shame on you!!"
