Aatrox idea, and upvote if you agree so this can go somewhere.
Aatrox is in a good and a bad spot. Anyone who says he sucks just hasn't gone against an Aatrox who knew what they were doing. Anyone who says he is op doesn't know how to play against him. Here are his weaknesses. Weaknesses: Ranged top, CC champs, counter engage. BRAMBLE VEST INTO TABIS...... Strengths: Prolonged close range fights, burst damage, easy build, simple kit once you play him enough.
SO here is an idea on how you can make Aatrox viable. Q- Keep this the same, but lower the stun circle, but increase the AoE of the damage circle. W- His W in my personal opinion is already a perfect ability for him. E- Every takedown should now increase the range of his E, but lower the initial range. R- Scale with anything other than AP. This should scale off of bonus health, too introduce another way to play him. Get rid of bonus attack speed, and give his autos AoE damage. Like Kayle, except less scaling damage to other than target enemy, to keep it poke and not easy kill potential. Passive: RIOT KEEP THIS EXACTLY HOW IT IS, THE PASSIVE NOW REQUIRES TIMING AND KNOWLEDGE OF THE CHAMPION TO MASTER. On my main I used to play the hell out of Aatrox, especially jungle. starting blue side, I could get drag before 4 minutes using this passive and kit perfectly. This passive is the best you've done for him. Good job, please don't change it.
Personally I think Aatrox is strong where he is, but he needs some loving from Riot that doesn't have to do with changing how he is played 100%. Give him some skin updates and abilities some flashy effects. I know a lot of people thinks he sucks but that's strictly because they haven't yet mastered him, or went against a main.
