As A Retired Yasuo Main....
I've dealt with a lot being a Yasuo main in recent years, and it is fairly obvious to see why. I used to play him because he was a super mobile hyper carry, and you didn't even have to be fed to reach full build.... just two items was all it took to roam bot and get doubles all day long. Item three for lifesteal, Bloodthirster or my favorite Deaths Dance, and you felt like you could never die. Playing Yasuo well makes the game seem easy, and that is why I stopped playing him. There shouldn't be a champion that simply feels easy once the game hits 20 minutes. I used to hit my tornado and ult, all chat "gg ez" before the opponent hit the ground, and destroy them. This, looking back, is unacceptable in this game, and I have a legit way to tone down Yasuo without changing his kit, his passive.
Give Yasuo a mana pool, and have his abilities cost mana. Dash for 20, Q for 20-30, windwall for 60-80, ult for 80-100. The main reason I got shit talked for playing Yasuo was that I would spam abilities in lane as often as I could without drawbacks, poking constantly. I feel people wouldn't feel as bad in lane against him if he had to worry about some kind of sustain. Hell, Yasuo can dash for free but Lucian and Graves cant Dash without spending mana, seems a little eh to me.
