Champion Concept: Syphus, The Death Cheater
This is a champion based on the greek myth of Sisyphus, a man who cheated death many times by not having coins over his eyes when he died in various disguises so that the judges of the underworld wouldn't notice. But when they did, he was sentenced to push a giant boulder up a hill for eternity.
His lore would be similar to that, but would probably involve Yorick and Thresh.
In game Syphus would be carrying a boulder around him almost all the time and will be almost central to his kit.
Syphus' abilities are:
(Passive) True Punishment When your back is exposed, attacks dealt to you do more damage. However, when you are facing forward (your boulder is blocking you) the attacks dealt to you do less damage.
Q: Moment of Resilience In a burst of energy, you charge at enemies with increased speed to slow and hurt them.
W: Penniless For an amount of gold, you greatly heal yourself or an ally.
E: Burden Shift/Heavy Burden
- If used on an ally: Push your boulder to an ally to shield them. You are now vulnerable from all angles (not just back) and have a lot more movement speed and attack.
- If used on yourself: Your boulder gets stuck to the ground and acts like a shield. You can only move a certain distance away from the boulder, but your attacks are stronger.
R: Impossible Task You run out of hope and let the boulder roll away. You control the boulder's roll to hurt and stun enemy champions. It hits the first enemy for the full damage and the maximum duration of the stun, but each subsequent enemy champion gets hit with less and stunned less than the previous one.
This champion would be either a support or a top laner from this kit idea. What do you guys think about this?
