[Champion Concept] Muredon, Corruption Incarnate

So, I have an idea. Specifically, a champion.

Author's Notes: The main reason I put this out here is to get some feedback from the community. And by feedback, I mean tell me how good/bad/sexy this character is. I'm not new to champion design, nor am I a veteran at it. Well, that's a lie, I have an entire Google Docs page filled with ideas (About 70 pages, each page being a champion). Anyway, I'd like to see what you guys think of Muredon. Give me any ideas on how to balance or nerf him, or just completely ignore my page and play League. Either way, I'll still be here. Waiting.

Muredon: Corruption Incarnate

Overview: Muredon is a melee bruiser that excels in the jungle or top lane. His main role would be served as a tank with his main priorities being to initiate fights, peel for damage and then ending the fight while still being healthy enough to take down the enemies base. His kit consists of high crowd control and sustain with some, but not much, dueling potential. Muredon will greatly benefit with items that increase his health, protections and sustain to help stay in the fight while also taking down enemy champions. His main weaknesses are that his only main damaging ability is his Q, Absolution, due to the fact that this ability has an exceedingly low cooldown compared to his other abilities. Now, onto the abilities themselves.

Abilities:

PASSIVE: False Purity Muredon does not use mana. When Muredon lands a basic attack or an ability on an enemy, they become Corrupted. When an affected enemy is hit by one of Muredon's abilities, the Corruption begins to spread, giving that ability and extra effect.

Q: Absolution Muredon swings his battle axe in an arc in front of him, dealing damage and slowing all enemies in the area. If an enemy is Corrupted, Muredon consumes the Corruption residing in the enemy, dealing bonus damage and healing himself. This ability does not re-apply Corruption after consuming it.

W: Incredulity Muredon raises his armguard, increasing his armor and his magic resist for half of that amount. Any damage Muredon suffers from enemy champions is stored within the armguard, causing Muredon’s next basic attack to slow and deal a percentage of the damage taken while the armguard was raised. If the damage dealt deals more than 12% of the target's current health or if the target is Corrupted, they are stunned for 2 seconds as well.

E: Proselytize Muredon smashes the ground with the end of his battle axe, sending a shockwave of Corruption that damages enemies hit and knocking them up. If an enemy champion is hit, that champion will begin to spread their Corruption to other enemy champions, Corrupting and damaging them. If the enemy champion hit is already Corrupted, they send another shockwave.

R: ??? Muredon releases the Corruption residing in his heart, dealing damage to all nearby enemies. Afterwards, Muredon gains increased size, damage reduction from basic attacks and AoE spells, and deals magic damage to all surrounding enemies for the next 8 seconds. If an enemy champion was already Corrupted when Muredon activated this ability, he links himself to that enemy, forcing them to stay a fixed distance away from Muredon. Any attempt to escape damages that enemy champion and tugs them towards Muredon.

Lore:

"I am not a tyrant! I spread the beautiful lies of Corruption and blacken the hearts of men so they can be purified of all things good!"

Muredon is a creature of legends, a man that had been physically twisted by his own beliefs. He travels Runeterra, to spread his dark religion and to consume all for his so called "Beauteous Corruption". Although none have actually converted to his religion on their own volition, Muredon still gains followers every single waking moment, be it a letter with bribery inscribed or a poisoned dagger in the back. Corruption has set in the hearts of man and creature alike and Muredon seeks to harvest this power to become a God in the eyes of all things evil.

Just my opinion on his kit and abilities,

His Q seems good but we do have a lot of moves already like this (Darius Q, Renekton Q, Illaoi Q). Granted if it isn't broke, don't fix it.

You said in his W "increasing his armor and his magic resist for half of that amount." Half of what amount? Might just be being oblivious but I can't find where the amount is (unless it is increased by rank). I like having the damage hit back but I would do something else if they are corrupt instead of "they are stunned anyway." I can't think of anything right now though.

His E seems fine, nothing really wrong with it.

I would prefer if his R had a name, It also seems like a nasus/renekton ult, I like the extra affect where they can't run away and have to stay a certain distance.

Overall I think that it seems pretty good. I get the feeling of Darius and Mundo from him, I don't really understand why he doesn't use mana though.

I like the idea and would love to see some of your other champ ideas. Thank you for reading this.
