Tsu, The Tidal Serpent {Champion Concept}

Okay. I've made a post about this champion way, way back into when there were forums. This is a champion I designed to fit in with Nami, The Tidecaller. So without further ado, let's get into his abilities

[Passive] Serene Waters Tsu takes half damage from damage over time sources

[Q Ability] Serpent Strike [Passive] Every 3 auto attacks deal an additional 10% of your total attack damage in a small AOE range around your target and slow for 15%for 1 second

[Active] Tsu infuses his Tidal Bow with serpentine powers, and releases a spiritual serpent in the targeted direction. The serpent will travel in a targeted direction. The serpent will lunge to an enemy if it becomes close enough. If the serpent meets no target, the mana cost will be half refunded. If the serpent kills an enemy, it will refund the cost and cooldown, granting: 1 extra damage if it kills a minion, 5 extra damage for champions and large monsters, and 10 for buildings. Serpent Strike counts as an auto attack and can critically strike

[W Ability] Drown Choose a target, and that enemy champion is suppressed for .25 seconds and silenced for 2 seconds, slowed for 2.5 Additionally, if the target was affected by crowd control in the last 3 seconds, Drown will affect nearby enemy champions

[E Ability] Calm of the storm [Passive] Tsu will alternate his attacks from waves of water which will hit enemies next to each other or hydro spears from his Tidal Bow {Explanation below and in comments}

[Active] Tsu creates a bubble for 2/3/3.5/4/4.5 seconds granting him special boosts:

Tsu's steps are replaced with bounces that act like leaps, letting him cover more ground and hop over walls.

Tsu gains a small shield that absorbs a flat amount of damage plus extra damage based on his ability power

Tsu gains a small portion of lifesteal for the duration of the bubble

[R, Ultimate Ability] Hydro Unleased

[First Cast] Hydro transforms into a golden arrow for Tsu to fire. Tsu fires Hydro in a line across the map, dealing damage to enemies along the way. Occasionally, Hydro will leap, dealing 50 extra damage to those above and below the leap spots.

[Second Cast] Tsu commands Hydro to thrash around in a circle Hydro will stop in it's path and thrash in a wide circle, lightly slowing enemies and lightly damaging them

{My special idea is a synergy with Nami. Combine ultimates and create an ultimate...TSU-NAMI} (hehe see what i did there)

My views on abilities:

For the passive, I had really wanted something cool, and never seen before. Then I came up with the removing damage over time and I actually liked it. Check

As for his Q, it was something I modified from his original kit.

W. This is interesting. I was sitting around thinking about Tsu, and I thought of something to give him time to place his combo's up

On his e, I wanted to design him with some kind of mobility. The reason the shield is ap, is because I was trying to get different builds on him with different play styles

On the passive for it, I was wondering if i could try to make him a mage with his ranged waves. That's why the damage type is not shown

For his ultimate, This was something from his original kit i spent a lot of time about. I knew i wanted to have a chance for some global aspect, but also a good teamfight aspect

Lore: As a child, Tsu always had a special connection with the serpentine beings. At his birth, a pale light shone down from the moon, and when it cleared, a serpent was nestled with the boy. The century's time was coming close, and the Marai looked darkly towarded Tsu and Hydro. Claiming the serpentine were evil towards the moonstone, they cast him out of the tribe. Not long after his exile. He crossed paths with Diana, The Scorn of the Moon. Both exiles, they connected with their love of the moon. But when time came, they left each other. Diana, as a parting gift, gave him a stone from the moon, swearing that they would meet again. Tsu looked to the moon, then the ocean, his desire and home.

Okay. So this took a while. I would like comments for my project...Telling me if something is broken. I know this because...as the author, things are different from reality. So go tell me about Tsu. Cheers!

Ok just my 2 cents passive is way too strong as is. My suggestions would be either give it a CD of not taking any dots or make it a flat reduction on the damage of dots. Q So a ranged nasus Q? weird but acceptable. passive component would be cool to play around with. W is way too strong. supress is a uncouterable cc on a non ultimate point and click. either make it a weaker cc or reduce it's power in some other way. E Ok is this charecter intended as an ad caster ap caster or an adc? R actually pretty good. a global slow/ damage field in two parts is pretty good.

I already disagree with the passive. Rip Mordekaiser, Darius, Gangplank, Cassiopeia, Karthus, Rumble, Malzahar, Twitch oh you know what I'll stop here. This would make him way too overpowered, you basically take 0 damage from a Vel'Koz ult that would normally deal over 1300 TRUE DAMAGE or a freaking Fiddlesticks ult that would deal even more damage. Just no, rework it quick please. Make something interesting, like maybe if he has an elongated body that is like 10 Teemos long and all parts of the tail can be targeted. Q: Would be useless, atleast with these numbers. You shouldn't even show the numbers, they are ever-evolving and can be changed in patches or playtests. But just for your knowledge: if you had 100 AD, and you get the third hit, you would only deal 105 damage total. And if you have 325 movement speed, and you lose 5%, you've lost 16 movement speed.

Friendly review here.

Passive - No. So much counters to certain champions. Also 5% reduction of cc is not even noticeable. Q - Slowing for 5% isn't good, 5% of damage isn't good either. The active could be okay I guess. W - Very creative. Except one problem - HE HAS NO DOT. A champion should only rely on other ally champions for specific things on their abilities if it's to HELP the ally. E - Don't get passive. Active could be okay. R - I...I???? I don't even know.

Kit doesn't work together tbh and some things baout his abilities are..questionable

Q - A ranged Nasus stacking Q with better Annie Q spam? W - spreads when the target has taken ANY CC (slows, whatever) or just hard cc? E - ...what? R - i think the item. At least the other parts of his kit can compensate for when he doesnt manage to stack his Q enough.
