Ability to Edit Runes in Champion Select

Some of us only have 2 rune pages, so when we are in champion select, why not have the ability to edit runes just like you have the ability to edit a mastery? Especially for those who play a lot of different roles. For example, if you were a support last game, and you used ap runes, but you are a top lane tank, what will you do when you have to choose between ap runes and ad runes? Please look in on this

Make 2 Generic pages (I'll list a few options below). Use those until you can get more rune pages (either buying with IP for the bundle of 7 or IP for a single), you can have up to 20 Rune Pages, which should be enough to cover the fundamentals of almost every champion and role in the game. If you want a 3rd free page, adjust one during queue and don't save. Once you get into champ select it will ask you if you want to save. Press yes or no accordingly and you have an extra page.

Short term: Most runes cover a lot of bases. There are a lot of pages that don't change too much from one another. Honestly with just a simple AD or ADC and AP rune page you should be able to reach Plat. However certain champions do have niche runes to gain advantages or preferable stats. For example Twisted Fate brings Movement Speed quints to help him roam, a lot of Shaco players bring AP glyphs for early game power boost on boxes, Nasus brings 9 CDR blues with 1 CDR Quint to help stack early game. If you aren't a OTP (doesn't sound like you are) don't concern yourself over little details in runes, just get the one-fits-all pages.

Long term: save up IP or give in and buy pages with RP. If you want to buy them with IP, they go into a 2 for 1 sale at the end of the season which should peak your interest. More rune pages, means you can cover more champion types, or start to make specific pages.

3 Generic pages you can make to fill the roles you said you play: AD: 9 AD Marks, 9 Armor Seals, 9 MR Glyphs, 3 AD Quitns AP: 9 Magic Pen Marks, 9 Armor Seals, 9 MR Glyphs, 3 AP Quitns Tank: Magic Pen Marks, 9 Armor Seals, 9 MR Glyphs, 3 HP/regen Quints
