So I've been currently working on a concept for the polycount competition and I provided a rough sketch of it above: High Disciple Syndra Recently I was thinking about the theme and I remembered Justicar Syndra existed. The sort of prompt for my concept is as follows. Syndra was a student before she became the dark sovereign, a student with what seemed to her unlimited power. And as we know this is why Syndra ultimately rebelled against her teacher so that she could un-tap all of her power, which her master was sort of locking up within her. Well my skin takes place in an alternative timeline where she never rebelled and through discipline she was able to become effecient with her magic becoming rediculously strong. She is of coursed noticed by the leaders of Ionia. Due to her obvious combat value she becomes a ranking memeber of their militia and like Irelia reaches high status giving her the ever so awesome mantle. She is taken in as a member of the gov(which i'm not sure exactly what is is a republic, monarchy, tyranny? who knows) the point is she becomes an important figure in the Ionian authority.

Where does this conflict with Justicar syndra well I'm not sure, thats my biggest reason for coming here. Justicar is strange because the word in itself isn't real but it could derive from justiciar which was in medieval times the monarch figure in Scotland. Did riot take the theme from this? because if so that would mean that ultimately this is the version of Syndra that wins and is good gov figure assuming from her golden magic. I feel like this parallels my theme too much and what would be the point in doing another "syndra but on the good side of history" skin. I don't want to beat an already dead bird so if the theme is too similar I'll swap over to sakura Syndra or something different lol.

However, the more likely theme of justicar is Justice! woo hoo. which if so would give me the green flag to continue haha. She has her eyes hidden like in many representations of justice, nemesis for example. Also the golden and red colors could drive this point further. I think this is more likely but my paranoid self wants to ensure this by seeing what yall think.

If Riot would just straight up answer me that would be awesome but alas that takes a lot of luck. Besides the LoL community is good enough for me.

High Disciple Syndra looks like she was disciplined by Ionian teachings and was given a 'Mantle of Decorum' which is given to highly revered Ionians. This is very nice cause even though Justicar was technically made with a similar take like that of Arclight Varus (and how you mentioned opposite timeline), it does feel as though Justicar Syndra is part of a higher order than she normally would be able to obtain. Seems like she is part of some celestial tribunal with Kayle. If anything I always saw Justicar theme as masked heroes of Justice. Compared to Arclight you can see that Syndra and Aatrox both have masks. My guess is because they don't judge by looks, but rather by action.

Edit: If anything Justicar would remind me of elemental heroes from Yu-gi-oh.
