If someone leaves the game, allow other players to leave without punishment.

I shouldn't have to sit there in a 4v5, desperately waiting for the game to end, especially when duo queue's are voting no just to be dickheads.

it will be abused by trying to harass the person doing worst on your team and trying to make them quit which will be a common occurrence if this ever goes through and not to mention the fact that the enemy team is cheated out of a win in that process

the only time that somebody is gonna leave mid game is if they are being flamed and dont want to be in that match anymore,they are tilted after being dominated in lane,they are a child and dont understand how online games work, or they had an internet problem which is on them. both game related ones can be solved pretty easily by supporting your team and not being a dick, for the children all you need to do is not be bad so you arent put into games with them or explain to them how online games work, and for the last one which is the only one which should be addressed but not in this way due to it being exploitable like i already said, the way riot should go about it is if someone loses connection in game from something not connected to a client error that player receives addition punishment and their team would get their lp back or lp lose reduced

Also, people already harass the worst performing player as it is, this would be nothing new. Mute, and move on.

There are two problems with this; one that's pretty easy to fix and one that's much harder to fix:

Premade abuse. Just have one guy leave. The other 1-4 keep their LP when they leave. Enemy team may or may not report them. Or a duo just abuses it - one goes AFK, the other then goes AFK because the one is afk. Only one will be punished, even though it's trolling done by two of them. Can be fixed by simply not making it count for the rest of your premade.
Someone crashes or only disconnects for a moment. Someone else uses that opportunity to leave because the match is going badly for them. Even though they know the person is coming back, they leave because they won't get punished for it.

And, as an extension of 2: That person who crashed for only a moment comes back. Someone else is AFK during the time they left. Who gets punished then?

They'll still lose LP upon leaving the game, it would nonsense if it didn't count as a loss.

Make it to where they have to be disconnected for said amount of time, say 2-3 minutes, just like the remake function.

Well, I don't see the issue here unless it meant that the team wouldn't lose LP. But again, knowing how some people think, it would be ruining the game for the others who wanted to try to win.

If your team is having fun in a 4v5, or thinks that you can still win, then I guess you're along for the ride. Not really any way around that, save for like... abusing the system and having one guy sacrificing himself so that everybody else gets to leave.

It's also just encouraging unsportsmanlike behavior, in my opinion. If only one person leaves, then the rest of his premade won't get punished w/ anything (LP can be lost, sure, but that's implying it's only Ranked this'll work in, and you can also just earn back LP, unlike a ban or something, which is an actual punishment).
