Everytime there's an enemy Kai'sa on the enemy team, she 1v5 carries.

Like this shit is Vayne 2.0, she's terrible in laning phase, but is just God mid to late. I really don't understand why you can't build against her because of her passive, she get's bonus isolation damage, self peel, invis with a shit ton of movement speed, a long ass ranged nuke ability, a large ass shield, a large ass dash, and 50 fucking viable builds that are all absolute cancer to play against.

Seriously though, ever since this champion has been released, she's been nothing but a god damn problem. Why hasn't she been nerfed?

True. Can't say you're wrong there, but a lot of Champions become monsters late game, so it isn't a Kai'Sa thing.

I really don't understand why you can't build against her because of her passive,

Actually, you're able to know what to build. Her passive only scales off AP, so if she builds towards AD ( but still has some AP ), you should build armor, since her plasma proc won't do much.

she gets bonus isolation damage,

You mean the plasma stacks? It isn't isolation, it's just attacking a target until the plasma detonates. Kai'Sa needs 4 auto attacks to fully stack her plasma, and a 5th to detonate it. Her W, once evolved, can hit for 3 stacks at once.

Her passive is pretty much like Vayne's W.

self peel, invis with a shit ton of movement speed,

Stealth with a ton of movement speed? Now where did you get that? She doesn't have that much of a movement speed bonus. Any champion with a gap closer will be able to keep up with a Kai'Sa who used her Evolved E, since her Stealth doesn't even last 1 second and her movement speed burst isn't something she can use to get away asap.

a long ass ranged nuke ability,

Which doesn't go through units and is a little bit slow, thus allowing you to dodge it. Run in a straight line and I'll keep aiming for you. And I'll kill you that way. I've killed 2 players like that.

a large ass shield, a large ass dash,

This is her Ultimate, and what you said above are what it does : dashes towards a targeted location and give a shield that scales off AP and AD.

Her R can be stopped. Her Ultimate's Range is smaller than her W. Kai'Sa can't ult a target marked by plasma that she can't see.

and 50 fucking viable builds that are all absolute cancer to play against.

Would you mind sharing all those builds?

Because as far as I know, there's 2 ways of building Kai'Sa :

  • Mixed damage but AD heavy item 3095 item 3124 item 3085 item 3031 item 3094
  • Mixed damage but AP heavy item 3095 item 3124 item 3115 item 3146 item 3089 ( my personal build )

The items above aren't always what players will build, since they can take situational items :

  • item 3157 and item 3026 for armor
  • item 3135 and item 3036 for penetration
  • item 3102 and item 3139 for CC

And so on.

Champions like Kai'sa or Vayne need to be shutdown early in order to make them useless later. Anyone playing well on Kai'sa and Vayne will powerfarm and then completely destroy you : their job is to survive the laning phase ( which is awful for them early ) and then hypercarry their team.

Also : they are the backline, therefore, they will let their team peel for them and set up the perfect fight to wipe the ennemy team.

Anyone can pick Kai'sa and be completely garbage at it. You have to take advantage of her weak early game. I'm taking Support Lux whenever I'm filled as Supp with my premade, and Kai'sa is not a threat for us, since we know how to play around her. The Support will be the one setting up the fights for Kai'sa to get kills.

It's all about knowledge and skill. Anyone can hold a Kai'sa if they know what she does and how to exploit her weaknesses. Also, if she is in her mid/late game, you need to obviously focus her. She is the carry after all.

Stacking FH with either thornmail or randiuns help against her a lot.

I've played some Kai'sa lately and it's honestly not that hard to go through laning phase with doran shield and fleet footwork. You've enough sustain to go through the laning phase even agains't poke but struggles agains't hard engage still. She can have it easier than Vayne for two main reasons : She can PUSH with her Q and has much more base armor. Being able to push the lane makes it by default easier to pilot. Meanwhile Vayne can dodge hard engage and poke with her Q but will typically have less lane pressure because she can't push. For that reason, I think Kai'sa have it easier in the laning phase compared to vayne even tho technically easier to catch. I think Vayne is kinda underated right now and the changes to stormrazer might help her a lot.
