Would be cool if, instead of giving invulnerability, it would give a decaying "reduces all incoming damage", from 120% for one second, that would heal for 20% the damage the enemy has given, and then for two seconds it would decay down to 0% then end, also maybe give attack speed to the target too?
This way, her healing ability would be changed to something more useful.
That would bring Kayle R to 2019.
That's...actually a really cool idea. Only problem then would be true damage ignoring it. Unless that's what you want to have happen, that is.

I think her ultimate shouldnt change because that core to her identity being able to decide some one fate.

That's kind the same as old Mao ult + old Galio W but only single target, with some additional AS % tacked on for the appeal. And the durations are so short that this would literally become a worse anti-burst tool instead of how it's being used today. I'm not really seeing Kayle just forgoing her Invulnerability since to me, this ability is what makes her her.
And i understand she's going to be GA'd and she would change but in that regard, i think that her Q, W and passive are lackluster abilities in her kit but also that her E and R (with Guinso and Q's slow) create some low points in gameplay, not leaving her targets much of a choice between hard CCing her until her ult expires and then attacking or running away under the same conditions.
I also believe that she should be supported in her support role because the way she is now, she's only viable if her team is facing a lot of burst threats. Her W and R are her only supporting spells in the bot lane.
As a support main who has mained kayle for a couple years now, her heal ability is one of the best heals in the game currently and her ult is fine although it could use some additional buffs based on skilled usage. What she needs is maybe some resets either on w or r to compete with the ridic damage output of other champs, her q's cc needs major buffing and her e just needs to be made into some kind of passive or just make her ranged and then give her e a completely new effect so she can have more synergy and be more viable.
Her R is probably the most iconic part of her kit, so I don't believe it needs to be touched, except to fiddle with the numbers a bit. It's distinctly "Kayle," so turning it into measly damage reduction makes it something that's not "Kayle."
