League of Legends App?

Now I know this isn't riots main concern, and forums aren't exactly the ideal focus for most players, but I'm shocked that riot hasn't done something like this before which I think would help the players that actually enjoy reading and learning about the game.

Being one of these players that like to learn a different play style or whats meta, and how to counter whats meta, Forums is usually where I go because the best way to learn to play, in my eyes, is from other players. But theres nothing I could do about that if I wasn't home.

so this whole ramble was about why isn't there an "official" league of legends app, where you could: read/write on the forums check match histories look at the esports (wins/loss'/ scores)

I don't think its necessarily a huge deal, I'm more curious to see if other players would be interested in this and their overall opinion on it.
