Darrell the Doctor (Champion Idea)
Champion Idea: Darrell the Doctor Health: 508 (+88 per level) Health Regen: 6.4 (+0.7 per level) Attack Damage: 61 (+2.4 per level) Armor: 24 (+3 per level) Attack Speed: 0.625 (+2.11% per level) Magic Resist: 30 (+0 per level) Movement Speed: 340 Attack Range: 550 (Darrell has a launcher that fires syringes at the enemy as his attack animation.)
Resource Bar: Poison Supply. Darrell does not use mana, but has a poison supply on his back; he starts off with no regeneration, but obtains the regeneration at levels 5/10/15 (+5 per second each time, for a maximum of +15 per second.) His maximum amount of poison is 250.
Q: Waiting Line - Darrell summons a line of poison gas, damaging any inside the line for 70/90/110/130/150 (+0.4 AP) or 2/3/5/6/7% (+1% per 100 AP) of the enemy's missing health as magic damage, whichever is greater. People caught in the line are, also, poisoned for 20/25/30/35/40 (+0.2 AP) magic damage per second for 3 seconds. (Cost: 40 Poison) (Cooldown: 9/8/7/6/5)
W: Doctor is Here - Darrell gives an ally regeneration equal to 20/30/40/50/60 (+0.2 AP) per second for 4 seconds, or gives an enemy poison damage equal to 10/25/40/55/70 (+0.15 AP) per second for 6 seconds. This effect inflicts Greivous Wounds on enemies, as well as giving the allies additional healing from all sources. (+20% bonus healing for allies at all ranks; stacks with W's heal) ( CAN be used on self) (Cost: 35 Poison) (Cooldown: 14/12.5/11/9.5/8)
E: Gas! Gas! Gas! - Darrell summons a delayed explosion on the target enemy, (imagine Arcane Comet), dealing 100/130/160/190/220 (+0.6% AP) to anyone caught in the blast. The explosion leaves behind a toxic cloud, dealing 3/4/5/6/7% (+1% per 50 AP) of enemies' maximum health per second. The cloud lingers for 8 seconds. (Can only be used if the target is actively poisoned) (Cost: 60 Poison) (Cooldown: 17/15/13/11/9)
R: It's Terminal - Darrell channels before becoming untargettable, and gaining an AoE area around him (like Swain) for 15 seconds, dealing 10/15/20/25/30 magic damage per second (+0.1 AP). Anyone caught in the AoE for 2 seconds gains the "It's Terminal" debuff, losing 1/2/3% (+1% for every 200 AP) of their max health per second for 20 seconds. Every 2 seconds still in the AoE increases the damage by an additional 1% (+0.25 per 100 AP) of the target's maximum health, but does not refresh the duration. During this time, Darrell's other abilities deal half damage, but the damage is applied instantly rather than over time.
Bio: Born in Zaun, young Darrell was raised in the top of the food chain. His parents were scientists, tasked with bringing immortality to the higher-class; they were the only ones funding the research, as well as the only ones who could afford it once it was developed. Darrell followed along with the research, but not from the stand-point of wealth and greed, but from morality and logic. If the wrong people became immortal, they would have an infinite amount of time to learn how to ruin the lives of everybody. And from the people that came in to visit - he had already deemed they didn't deserve the gift.
But the research was underway, with no way to stop it. Unless, of course, he were to sabotage the research; he had no way of doing it, yet, but he would. He was very patient.
The research was extraordinarily slow, but with enough funds, they were able to get relics from Shurima, and enough questionable materials from Noxus. They were starting to learn. While the research was slow, the process was incredibly fast. Evaporate the materials in an enclosed space (which was about a two foot diameter sphere), so the gas wouldn't escape, expose them to the relics, and let idle for around 15 minutes. The parents were thrilled, but Darrell was appalled; they were fueled by their greed, and knew nothing of what would become of their creation.
The parents were the first to test the gas. It was a little bit of a darker hue than before, but they deemed it of no consequence. They uncapped the sphere, and inhaled. They didn't feel any different, so they inhaled, again, but this time less came in. They gave each other questioning glances, until they realized that they couldn't inhale at all. Scratching at their throats, Darrell looked on, tears rolling down his face as the people that had raised him choked. No turning back now; no way to reverse it. Overwhelmed by the betrayal he had enacted, he sobbed into his hands until the bodies stopped convulsing.
But then he realized something. The research would never have happened if it hadn't had been for the funders. The supporters of the cause that he was so against. Those thieves had stolen his parents. Those absolutely disgusting cretins had done this to his parents. Turned them from loving people who wanted to make end's meet to greed-filled husks. He looked around and saw letters, addresses, names... they had sent in their funds in regular envelopes? This would be too easy. He picked up the sphere, put on his boots, and went out to play the Harbinger.
FAQ: Why - This champion will destroy the tank meta, and post-pone all OP tank champions indefinitely. (also, his entire kit is countered by Adaptive helmet, so it's not like he's guaranteed penta-kills every time he ults. Come on, fellas.) How did you come up with such a fair and fun champion? - I main Teemo Would you main this champion? - Probably What would you build on him? - Copy and paste Brand builds Is this a meme? - A pretty juicy one, if I do say so myself.
