AD Rod of Ages Idea
I know that AD is possibly too good this season so far, but I feel that the majority of the AD items seem to be directed more toward the assassin/Carry styles of playing. I am proposing an idea that is geared more toward the tanky/bruiser type of game style. ( note, this was made on patch 6.5)
"Sword of Ages" (Eternity Blade) (Some prototype names, I do not have it finalized yet)
3000 gold cost overall (same as RoA)
Build Path:
Catalyst the Protector + Executioner's Calling + 1000 gold
+
+1000 gold
30 Attack Damage 300 Health 400 Mana
Passive: This Item gains 2 Attack Damage, 30 Health, and 20 Mana every minute, stacking up to 10 times
Unique Passive - Valor's Reward: (Same as Catalyst/RoA): upon leveling up, heals 150 Health and 200 Mana over 8 seconds
Unique Passive - Executioner: Physical Damage Applies Grievous Wounds for 3 seconds
The Max Stats for this Item are:
50 Attack Damage 600 Health 600 Mana
This item is approximately 80% gold efficient upon purchase, and is approximately 139% efficient upon reaching max stats
I thought of this Item because even though AD champs seem to be stronger as a rule, there are still some champs that struggle because the new AD items do not mesh well with them. Yorick
is a good example. He can no longer build Essence Reaver to solve his gigantic mana costs as an AD build, since Essence Reaver only works on crits this season. This Item also synergizes with Muramana.
I also wanted to see Executioner's Calling used in more than 1 item ever, so i used it instead of the more obvious pickaxe. I believe that the harder build path is worth the Damage and sustain it can build.
