A New type of item to increase itemization!
I just randomly thought of this idea, and it's kind of a way to increase itemization perhaps. It's a pretty crazy idea but I'd like to try and explain it. So: We have new items that have negative stats but bigger bonuses so maybe a tank item such as
These stats are just for show, I can't balance anything
Armor Tank item " Insert Name here" -15 Attack Damage +90 Armor +600 Health
A Straight AD item for AD Casters Maybe +100 AD -20% Cool-down Reduction -20% Attack Speed
Mage item, The one Shot Combo'ers +150 AP -30% Cool-Down Reduction -50% Mana Regen
And having negatives isn't even that bad, for example the CDR cap problem and wasted efficiency, you could build Black Clever, Yommu's, CDR Boots, Banshees or a defensive item with CDR and the above AD Caster item and not have any wasted CDR efficiency because it is cancelling out a negative. Same could go for mages, I think this idea could really open up itemization for every class if balanced right but mostly tanks because they aren't supposed to really be pumping out damage so whats so bad about losing some damage for a large boost in survivability stats?
I'm sure that there are other ways that negative could be helpful around the board but the CDR thing was the only prime example I had, tell me what you guys think and maybe some examples you can think of.
