#Telford, The Beast My Entry for the April 2018 CCOS!
Outreach April 2018 CCOS Role: Juggernaut Damage Type: Physical Primary Resource: Resourceless Base Attack Range: 175 units

#Bio

A vulgar, cigar-chewing mountain of a man who once dwelt in the innermost sections of bilgewater. Formerly the “king” of a series of not-so-underground fight clubs. His brutality and cunning earned him an unflattering title: The Beast. Previously a mercenary used by Gangplank to manage important street level affairs, with the dread pirate’s fall The Beast has resumed offering his services to those with the coin and the backbone to earn his respect. He’s found no shortage of entertainment cracking the skulls of men sent by the vengeful Miss Fortune to take his life. All are welcome in the ring. Lately he’s on the move once again. Whoever his new employer is has taken great interest in the docks left derelict by the Harrowing. But all is not what it seems.

In reality, Telford is the third pillar of Noxus, guile. His continued presence in Bilgewater is a war on two fronts: the first is an attempt to gain more ready access to Noxian and Piltovian technology in an environment where few will be able to interfere. The second being an attempt to secure a method of neutralizing or controlling the spirits of the Black Mist, both to secure the ports and resources of Bilgewater and prevent the return of the former master of the Immortal Bastion. Having distinguished himself with service during the Ionian offensive and managing affairs in troublesome Shuriman districts, Swain saw something... beyond Telford's seemingly brutish exterior. Although blessed with size and strength, it has always been Telford's mind that is the true weapon. He fashioned himself an identity as a brute in order to seem less threatening to those in power, and to get in close with Bilgewatian(?) authorities. He's pulling the strings on a large number of affairs in Eastern Valoran from his hideout, whilst he has a few loyal minds working to apply hextechnology to curb the tide of one threat to Runeterra's continued existence.

Imagine Telford as a sort of Noxian Nick Fury. He recruits people he finds promising for larger initiatives, kept under wraps. His identity is kept need-to-know.

#Kit

##Passive: Head Trauma Spells apply Crushed Bones to all targets hit. Once a unit has 3 stacks applied, they are afflicted with a 50% slow that decays over 4 seconds and become Punch Drunk. Your next spell against a Punch Drunk target is a knockout, dealing **5-15% (+4% per 100 AD) ** of target’s **maximum health **bonus true damage, consuming Punch Drunk.

##Q: The Ol' One-Two Telford delivers a vicious one-two punch combo with his right, then left fists, in two oval-shaped areas of effect. The first strike deals 20/40/60/80/100 (+75% AD) physical damage and dashes forward up to 100 units, pushing all units struck along with him. The second deals 40/60/80/100/120 (+100% AD) physical damage. Applies on-hit effects. Range: 400 (+ up to 100 for first hit) Cooldown: 10/9.5/9/8.5/8 seconds

##W: The Boot Telford becomes briefly _unstoppable _(0.75 seconds), delivering a vicious front kick for 50/80/110/140/170 (+50% AD) physical damage, briefly stunning (1 second) and knocking all struck targets back a short distance. Struck minions are launched in the direction of the kick, dealing 50% of this spell’s damage, stopping at and stunning the first champion hit. Striking an enemy champion with a minion grants Telford 50% decaying movement speed over 2 seconds.
Range: 450 units / 700 units Width: 150 units Cooldown: 18/16/14/12/10 seconds ##W Passive: Knockouts reduce the cooldown of your basic abilities by 1/1.5/2/2.5/3 seconds.

##E: Mind Over Matter Telford pushes aside his pain, shrugging off enemy blows. Your next three basic attacks deal (10/20/30/40/50%) bonus AD physical damage in an AoE, granting you a stacking shield for _10/30/50/70/90+(10/20/30/40/50%) _AD physical damage. AoE Radius: 350 units Cooldown: (Starts after first attack): 12/11/10/9/8

##R :Crackdown Telford’s cooldowns are reset as he slams the ground to create an arena the persists for 8 seconds, dealing_ 100/150/200 (+30% AD)_ physical damage, shattering it and _interrupting _ enemy mobility. His ability casts shake the arena itself, echoing 40/55/70 (+10% AD) physical damage to all units within. Knockout blows within the arena deal 50% additional echo damage and send all units airborne for 0.75 seconds. The echo damage from this spell cannot trigger a knockout.

AoE Radius: 600 units Cooldown: 150/120/90 seconds

#Playing As Telford Telford likes juggernaut items. He especially likes Trinity Force and Steraks Gage. He's vulnerable to being kited, but once he gets on to a target he can be very sticky. Items like Dead Man's Plate, Righteous Glory, and Randuins Omen complement his sticking power and allow him to keep his enemies in pummeling range. Titanic Hydra is a must for bulkier builds, but ravenous hydra complements his E nicely as well. Telford wants to use his mastery of close range to pummel enemies who get to close, interrupting close ranged enemies with a well timed The Boot, or using it to spartan kick a minion and allow him to engage. Enemies collapsing on you? Give them a good beating with Crackdown, letting you easily pile up marks to run from target to target, knocking up any fools who dare interfere in your 1v1 brawl.

Appearance

Telford is enormous. With a height bordering on seven feet and shoulders broad enough that most doorways are a squeeze to get through. His armor is actually high-quality Noxian armor, but modified to resemble the more typical looks of bilgewater. Decorative jaw-and-tooth like pieces are fitted to his shoulder plates and gauntlets. Much of the metal is inscribed with the fishscale pattern common to much bilgewater armor. His gauntlets have been modified into something akin to steel caestus. His hair is tied back into the dreadlock-esque hair you can find on bilgewater twisted fate and illaoi. He has heavy brows that cast shadows over his eyes, and keeps a fat cigar clenched between his teeth.

Short Story

Currently in progress! Stay tuned! (Hopefully it will actually get finished this time)

My goodness, the damage on this guy. sounds like fun though. I really need Riot to make a punching character. A boxer of some sorts.

He really sound like a brawler and have interesting mechanics; this also sound really fun to play. If had a complain that would be the scaling % max hp true dmg componement in his passive, that part sound like a nightmare to play against.

U kno The Faceless: the Representative for Guile is LeBlanc right? I mean sure she diguises herself as other people all the time and can make clones so ur lore isn't a direct issue, just want u to know that the Faceless is definitely a woman and not a dude.

Here this might help https://boards.na.leagueoflegends.com/en/c/story-art/9OdjM7tq-comprehensive-noxus-dictionaryfield-guide

press Ctrl+F and type: Political Structure it will tell u everything u need to kno

for an great example of a boxer champ I would look at Crunch from Paragon, yeah he's got rockets for fist but he has a variety of moves besides just going forwards like Vi.
