Mystery Skin Re-Rolls

Hi. Here are my thoughts on this idea I have been brainstorming lately.

The Mystery Skin Re-Roll would simply be a re-roll on self purchased mystery skins. It is only for self purchased mystery skins and nothing else. I feel like there could be a limit of 3, as there is a limit of 3 for refunds.

This would be better than refunds, but wouldn't be broken. I think this would work well for Riot and the person who buys the skin. People would feel more confident in getting themselves a self mystery skin, and when they show up they would buy them, and might even buy RP just knowing they have the chance to re-roll if they get a skin they don't like. This, in turn, makes Riot even more money than they already got with such mystery skins.

I thought of this idea because I got three Poppy skin from mystery skins. I hardly even play Poppy, and this makes me upset. I want a way where I can be able to re-roll them, and be able to have another chance of getting better skins. Sure, this is my problem, but I know other people have the same problem. We want to be able to spend less RP, and then we get skins we consider crap and have the burden for weeks on wasting money.

How this would work: The re-roll button is the same as the Aram button. This button appears once after each self mystery skin, next to the picture of it, and only works once. It also works on three past self mystery skins, even before this is implemented. When the button is clicked, the skin you just received is refunded, or taken from your profile, and a new one is placed. For example; let's say you get Primal Udyr from a mystery skin, and you want a different skin. You click the re-roll button, and the same picture format shows up, but with a different skin. If this is a bit inbalanced, Riot can decrease the chance of getting rare/expensive skins slightly on the re-roll skin.

As for how many you get, I would say three forever, but another cool thing is if you bought the five self mystery skins in a day, you get an extra re-roll.

Your idea is interesting, but it would need tweaking. For instance, as it is now there would be a really strong temptation to re-roll any cheap skin to try for a legendary one. But I don't think it ought to be too hard for Riot to implement a simple fix: the re-roll is guaranteed to be a skin with the same RP cost as the one you got. This would also be nice for people who managed to snag a legendary skin, but for a champ they hate, or a champ for whom they already have another skin they love.

I'd like to see Riot implement a same-RP reroll option on mystery gifts that refreshes once per month. I think a lot of people who currently don't buy mystery skins because they don't like the odds of getting a skin they care about would like the fact that they can basically double their chances and increase their mystery skin purchases.

Sorry to piss on your parade but Mystery skins were created all for the gamble, i understand where you are coming from but if there was a re-roll option it would just take the purpose away, its essentially paying 470 or whatever for 2 chances to get a decent skin that you could've just bought in the first place

I think mystery skins are fine as is tbh. The whole point is that it's a mystery.. Don't like the surprise? Too bad, that's what a mystery is. If there's a skin you really want, just buy it. If you just like the idea of getting any random skin, that's where mystery comes into play.
