I'm going to take a little bit of time to lecture a bit about the responsibilities of judging, since I threw out a judge's scores this month for the first time. I don't have too much of an entry requirement to judging, but I put a lot of trust in whoever volunteers to fully read each concept and to give useful, actionable feedback. That's because some of these contestants are new to the boards, and don't have any idea of what to do. My assumption is that you as judges have a better idea of what to do than they do, so it's your job to help them figure out what to do. I'm sworn to protect this board and its community (roughly 33% exaggerating), so a judge that can't do that isn't a judge whose scores I can allow to be published.

...are you serious? How did I not repeal that clause keeping the host from winning the contest? Really? Really?!
The actual winner is Cyrus, the Peacekeeper, by Serpexnessie, with an average of 48/60! Peace status: KEPT.
Second place: Brell, the Last Templar), by Baakdraft, with an average of 45/60! A display worthy of legend!
Third place: Farjod, Running Scared, by Orx of Twinleaf, with an average of 40.25/60! It's okay, this is a safe spot!
Fourth place: Locus, the Glitch in the System, by The Supreme Taco, with an average of 37.25 and a $50,000 fine for hacking my scoresheet!
Fifth place: Hobb, the Mouth of Malice, by Bobo113, with an average of 30.25! Yet another concept to join his hive!

Bad scores doesn't mean you're bad, nor does it mean we hate you! If we didn't have bad scores, we'd have no way to communicate to you what needs improvement, and if we didn't think you could improve, we wouldn't even bother with the scores in the first place. Keep at it no matter what!
