Potential Mission Awards?

/dev: On Missions - Nexus - League of Legends

With these new missions, you can sometimes get bonuses such as free skins for completing certain missions. In the post, there's an example of playing 20 games as draven, and then you'll unlock the legacy skin draven draven. It may not be a final reward once this is out, but that reward looks really fair and gives players who miss out on certain skins an opportunity to get the skin through the skill or dedication of their champion.

What I was wondering.. what would the likelyhood of you using limited / achievement skins be as rewards for this?

Example:

Grey Warwick - Originally part of a retired friend referral program, and claimed by rioters to be returning eventually but unknown when or how (same for medieval twitch).

This would seem like a good time to give this skin out again. Something like, migitating x damage with E would grant you this skin. May not be the best mission, but its an idea of how a limited skin, could be redistributed and feel "earned" rather than just loosely given out.

Achievement skins I'll get a lot of eyebrows about riot's very adamant stance on "nope", but we thought they were adamant about grave's cigar too so.. why can graves have a cigar but we can't "earn" victorious or similar skin lines again?

I'm a biased elise main, so lemme just get that example..

While in gold 5 or above, achieve 3 kills with spiderlings in a single ranked solo queue/flex queue match. Rewards Victorious Elise.

This would seem fairer to me (hell make that requirement a penta kill for all I care, just give an opportunity) as never getting the opportunity to "earn" a skin (which at the time, nobody knew they were getting, some did placements to earn it, others climbed unaware) due to being a S5 installer felt kinda very unfair to me. If I could prove I deserve it through a mission, it would make me feel like I "earned" a missing part of a champion I dedicated too much time in besides a mastery emote and numbers, same feeling for j4/janna/morg etc mains. Just give original players the legacy border like riven or something.

If achievement skins will forever be ignored, fine, but lets still keep in consideration skins like grey warwick and medieval twitch which always were meant to be given out again, but never found an opportunity to be given out.

I could see this working, definitely, but it seems like it would be more interesting if the missions themselves didn't give specific rewards -- otherwise you might feel really bad if there's a cool reward tied to a mission you don't really like.

Definitely would be cool to see some of those old skins get some love! Achievement skins, however, will be locked -- I believe Riot has said as much in the past.

The only problem I see with this is, if the players are just playing the game for the achievements and they can care less about winning the game, does that make them toxic? Will the missions be available in ranked?

I mean it's a great idea don't get me wrong, but if players start focusing on "missions" would that take out the competitiveness of the game?
