Particularly TTL is the one that gets the short end of every stick.

Can't earn mastery tokens despite being considered a core gamemode to league rather then a rotational one. ARAM I understand, but TTL should be treated like rift in this sense given it keeps the core mechanics of the game, why would somebody who's level 5 on brand play on TTL and carry there when he's more rewarded for just doing it on rift? This tilted the fuck outta me when I was spamming kayn to get placements done, and I was only level 6 with one more token to 7
Most missions are 5v5 PvP only
Didn't get the 10 ban system when TTL is probably the least versitile gamemode with little variety due to the same champs being pick/ban 100% of the time. sure I'd expect blind ban like we have now to literally be the same on both teams but it would at least slightly improve the odds of preventing 7 or 8 champs instead of only 6.
Besides Elise's release and being tied to hexakill which I'm pretty sure was originally on rift, TTL never got anything specifically special to it as far as gamemodes, events, missions, or rewards until season 7's introduction of queue victorious chromas.

Gimmie a reason why TTL isn't viable enough to at least count damage dealt towards doing this mission while climbing in it. Gimmie one reason why TTL would be abused for this when there's fewer bodies, few marksmen, and possibly shorter games since TTL's close out faster but are still very capable of swinging sides.

Just acknowledge this gamemode and reward players that also acknowledge.. you don't have to force us to play it, just stop forcing us NOT to play it..

Perhaps Rito James™ will remove Twisted Treeline in Season 9 (bringing it back for the once-a-year Hexakill RGM). And perhaps Rito James™ will state that the reason TT was removed is the same reason Dominion was removed: "ROFL NOBODY PLAYED IT, DUDES."

Because the problem is always the **players **themselves. The problem is never Rito James™. To suggest that the problem is Rito James™ would make Tryndamere rage-cry in another all-hands company meeting.

yeah riot are ass holes i sent them a support ticket on the issue of ttl and they cant even be arsed to reply... rift is cancer more flamers and worse fun. i actually have fun playing in ttl being silver 2 mainly playing agaisnt daimonds and plats becuase the matmaking is a joke but riot dont care, if u want me to play agasint them in 8win 2loss promos just put me in that rank instead of making my games impossible to win half the time

The people that like the 3v3 playstyle and meta are playing it right now.

The damage dealt in missions and mastery badges are not going to get people to play it.

Just can speak for myself, but supporting the game mode with missions would not make me play it. I can't stand the game mode and if they made missions especially for it, then I would feel forced to play it for the rewards, but I would have a miserable time.

TTL was released for people who wanted shorter games to summoners rift. Apparently Riot forgot that, and now we have shitty short rift games instead of the original average 35+ minute games.

They are just killing it with neglect like Dominion and then they can blame the players when they remove it and move on to doing the same thing to ARAM. Eventually this game is just going to be SR and a rotating game mode that is always grayed out.

Be happy you have enough of a playerbase to keep the mode going.

that said, i didn't like being limited to SR for missions as i play aram quite often. So i also don't see a reason to keep missions limited to 5v5.

I loved TT, I climbed there so fast and I honestly thought I could make it to at least Masters... UNTIL that damn Hyper-meta came around the corner. Even after the nerfs it's still disgusting. It's also very annoying, frustrating and boring to play against that. And I refuse to attapt to that.

If they would fix it, I would love to go back to TT. Otherwise, no thank you.

And for the missions, some worked in the past. I just think, since those are world missions, that only 5v5 maps (only SR?) are working. And only should work there.

Tbh, its likely going to be all I'm playing next season. So damn easy to climb and carry two people over 4. I've only had 1 game out of 10 where I didn't have over 10 kills and control most of the game.

TT as a map is actually trash, the simplistic way it is built will almost always make sure the meta will never change on it.

meta of bruiser/control mage forever, no outplay potential or gank potential on the map. The only way you can be an actual jungler and gank is picking something like kayn or reksai or if you're fast enough then rammus. If not then you get to play the farm and afk in your jg until its time to siege or defend. (This doesn't really matter in bronze-plat on there because people in those ranks barely and rarely ever have map awareness.)

What im trying to say is...TT shouldn't have ranked and i do wish that from the bottom of my heart. Like its not built to be competitive at all. I wouldn't mind if riot had made a mode or two for it and IMO i think rito could've tried looking and working on the mode as a more fun and chill time like nexus blitz THEN TT wouldn't be horrible.

I’d gladly play the mode more if Ranked wasn’t the only way to learn. Blind TT has so many bots that I can’t get a decent enough grasp of the flow there, and I hate trying to learn something new in Ranked cause I just feel bad for my team if I struggle.

and tweak the items

oh and maybe consider having champ kits balanced for tt instances a little better.. like maybe a champ gets their numbers tweaked in tt but in SR they'd be normalized

Take an upvote. I played 3v3 Flex last year to get all the chromas, and found it a lot more enjoyable than I expected. It deserves more attention.

I tried playing TT three times. In those games I played with a grand total of 7 bots...

In my last game I was literally the only human player!

Want people to play TT? Fix this.

I would play TTL more if they added interesting mechanics, and increased the middle wall on the map so champions like fiddleskills, shaco, lissandra, etc can't blink over that wall.

I would also like to be able to get mastery tokens from TT, and I don't think it'd be asking too much if we got starting gates and/or added a global announcement when Vilemaw is taken like Baron and Dragon. Considering TT grants ranked rewards it really shouldn't be neglected this much.

Been preaching this since the start of the season.. If they don't want to fix the game's balance and let it rely solely on Rift's balance, fine... If they don't want to give incentive to people to try the game mode out, fine...

But at least stop further discouraging people from playing it. I actually got hooked back to rift because of all the 5v5 only missions and because I had a bunch of champs sitting at lv5 from 3v3 but not being able to progress.

Just sad that 3v3 is at the mercy of Rift and is further given up on. Pretty sure it's gonna be dumpstered just like Dominion the moment the playerbase drops so low that it's hardly playable.

Also, the banning phase is too slow, and the funnel comp everyone hated on SR has been the standard meta since forever on TT.

AGREE I played TT Ranked for like 3 matches, and there was always one superfed player that would just hardcore carry Aside from that, people were consistently picking the same champs Malphite Sion

i wish they just treated it with respect its a great mode, i don't play it cause it feels extremely outdated with the blind ban, and picking the same time. as well as the spooky theme coming across as really bland, as well as needing a bigger difference imo between the 2 lanes, and a larger middle jg but meh.

No one with brain would ban brand, voli or garen. i always cry when the matchmaking matches me with gold garbage, and they always waste the bans for those champs
