My try on an Azir Ability Update
Hi Summoners! My Name is Xipiz700 and thats my try on an Azir Ability Update. Pls read it, cuz i think its pretty good.
So first of all we have to think about what makes Azir to strong/unbalancable? Its an easy answer: He does to much things 2 good.
Next question: What part of his kit u wanna remove/change to make him balancable? My answer: His insane mobility with that Q-E Combo and his insec.
Azir will lose a remarkeable amount of mechanics, what did u do against it? My answer: I gonna give him some ways to outplay his opponents and to be outplayed.
What did i change? (befor i start u have to remember that this kit needs to be balanced)
Im starting with the core of my Ability Update, try to understand my changes. (ill give my best to make it easy readable)
W - new Passive -CD smth in between 10-15 sec.
Standing in AA range from soldiers grants Azir a small shield (similar to Viktor Q, Shen Q). When an Enemy is in this AA range (from the soldier) Azirs shield will quickly fall off. Azir regenerates his shield after 1.5 sec. after getting damaged, when his shield doesnt got breaked.
Now i gave him a defensive Ability, which can be balanced through the strength of the shield. BUT with only this change, his defensive Ability is more than clunky and unreliable. The E change will adress that.
E - Changed -Now has a range of 400.
Azir dashes into the AA range from a soldier.He can choose his destination, he didnt dashes to the soldier.
This give Azir the ability to use his new W passive and allows him to outplay his opponent, while dodging skillshots and positioning perfectly.
