“We stand divided in the presence of mounting danger...the shock of reality has reached Ionia. Noxus has tried to invade our lands and I doubt those warmongers will change their intent in the coming years” The man looks out to his village, his eyes briefly meeting that of his elders “We are a people filled with culture and pride!” His voice slowly raises as he notices the villagers gather “Our lands are that of flourishing beauty!” As his speech intensifies he strides towards the elder “What plan do you have to protect our culture” murmurs begin to scatter among the crowd “Our people!” He raises his voice as the villagers begin to slowly rouse into agreement. “OUR IONIA!” as his words pierce the air the crowd rumbles and break into an unorganized debate amongst itself. The elder holds his gaze with the contesting voice of the village. After a moment he raises his hand in an attempt to calm the village “I understand your concerns Vre’Kia...but one cannot douse the fires of war with fires of rebellion”. Vre’Kia shakes his head “You may understand my concerns...but you come from a time unhindered by these problems” Vre’Kia turns his back to the elder and preaches to the village once more “Who here agrees with the elders wisdom?” He asks, scanning the crowd for approving nods and looks of doubt alike “Who here agrees with the wisdom of a victim?” The individuals who had nodded before look at Vre’Kia with unsure eyes. “Noxus will not be swayed by diplomacy...they plan to douse their fires of war with the blood of Ionia!” Vre’Kia begins to pace, keeping the crowds full attention “They know what we’re capable of now and I do not suspect they will nurse themselves when they're pride is wounded!” The villagers shift uneasily “We need not douse their fires of war...we only need to smother it into the dirt!” Vre’Kia stops his pace and attempts to close his speech “And I'll not wait to smother such filth into the soil of Ionia! I say we strike them before they have a chance to cross our borders! Who is with me!” Vre’Kia holds his fist into the air, expecting a roar of vigor. Several moments pass until eventually mothers begin to herd their children back into their homes, men shake their heads and go back about their business. Vre’Kia watches in confusion as his fellow people disperse in response to his rally “Is this what Ionia has become!?...Cowards!” His voice falters slightly as his words fall upon deaf ears. After a couple seconds a hand rests upon Vre’Kia’s shoulder “You preach war to peaceful souls...we all know the dangers but there are those in Ionia who are already taking matters into their own hands..” The elder’s words echo in Vre’Kia’s mind “I can’t just sit here and wait for those beasts to attack us again...I’m not preaching war..I’m preaching survival” Vre’kia looks back to meet the elders eyes once more. The elder sighs and tightens his grasp on Vre’kia’s shoulder “if this is the path you want to take...then I may be able to guide you to a better audience”

Passive Unwavering Pride

When Vre’Kia receives damage that equals 50% of his current health within a span of 2 seconds, He gains a shield equal to 10% of his max health (Cooldown 15 seconds)

Q Lash Out (15/12/9/6 second cooldown)-- Iron Will (18/14/10/6 second cooldown)

While Vre’Kia is in his aggressive stance he throws his bladed staff at a target location dealing (20/45/80/115 + 70% AD) and marking any champion hit. He may recast after 1.5 seconds to jump to his staff and stun marked champions for 0.75 seconds If this is cast at or below 50% Health then the initial cast stuns for 0.75 seconds

While Vre’Kia is in his Defensive position he Raises his arm and projects his resolve in to a protective frontal barrier that increases his Armor and Magic resist by (10/13/22/30%) It additionally prevents the first CC effect that comes into contact with the barrier, This barrier lasts for 1.5 seconds

W Paved Path(15/13/10/6)/ Rally Against (14/12/10/8)

While Vre’Kia is in his aggressive stance he dashes forward a short distance, grinding his staff into the ground behind him and uprooting loose stone, slowing any enemies that try to cross by (15/20/25/30%)

If this is cast at or below 50% health dash an increased distance

While Vre’Kia is in his defensive stance he leaps a short distance. Upon landing he marks the ground beneath him granting nearby allies a shield equal to 15% of his current health for 3 seconds.Additionally Vre’Kia gains (5/10/15/25%) Tenacity for 4 seconds

E Restless Spirit (14/12/10/8)/ Outspoken (13/12/10/8)

While Vre’Kia is in his aggressive stance he reaches out with his offhand and projects his resolve towards his enemies in a small frontward cone. Any enemy champions caught in this ability take (20/45/80/110 +60% AP) and are silenced for 0.5 seconds

If this is cast at or below 50% health it may be recast for free within 1.5 seconds (yes i realize its similar to cho’gath but the radius is smaller and the silence is shorter)

While Vre’Kia is in his defensive stance he lets out a war cry, pushing back nearby by enemy champions and granting nearby allied champions armor and magic resist equal to (10/15/20/25%) of his own

R Necessity (20/18/16/12)

Vre’Kia switches between an aggressive and defensive stance

Aggressive stance converts his bonus Armor into AD (4-1 ratio) and his Bonus Magic Resist in to AP (3-1 Ratio)

Defensive stance converts his bonus AD into Armor (6-2 ratio) and his Bonus AP into Magic Resist (4-1 Ratio)

So this is my first attempt at trying to really flesh out a concept. I tried my best to keep the essence of Ionia in this champion the best I could. I also know that some statistics are missing but I'm not super duper savvy with this kinda stuff so feedback on anything and everything that would be amazing! I'll be working on quotes and the like over the next couple of days if y'all are interested. I plan on having him be connected to Irelia and Wukong somehow

Alright so i buffed the aggressive stance so that it could better follow up a defensive stance engage. Because of the possible burst of his E i think he may be able to produce the burst needed to be considered an assassin as a secondary role. Any suggestions of improvement are welcome!
