Bouncing a kit design for a Non-Traditional Targonian Vanguard

I'm just working out a design for a tank, please comment your opinions on the kit, which for the moment is going to lack any lore, the concept is for a curious aspect with a knack for collecting artifacts. A thing I'm trying to do with the kit is make it so that AP would be standard on the build and Archelon would still feel like a tank throughout.

-Passive: Event Horizon Activating an ability causes Archelon to gain a (18-103)+(10% AP) point shield that lasts for 3 seconds. If Reality Tear is the triggering ability the shield's capacity is doubled. Event Horizon has a 5-second static cooldown.

-Q: Cloak Of Starlight Archelon vanishes into his cloak, becoming invisible and gaining a 75% movement speed boost for 1 second. The invisibility and movement speed are lost if Archelon attacks, uses an ability, uses a summoner spell, or uses an item. While the invisibility holds Archelon can recast Cloak Of Starlight to strike enemies around himself and in a (350 unit long/150 unit wide) line, enemies hit take magic damage equal to 1% of their maximum health and have their damage output reduced by 8/16/24/32/40+(2 per 100 AP)% for 3 seconds. _Cloak Of Starlight has a 13/11/9/7/5 second cooldown. _

-W: Nova Archelon's cloak releases burning light in all directions, causing enemies within 450 units of him to take 30/45/60/75/90+(20% AP) magic damage per second over 8 seconds. During this time Archelon is slowed by 0% which increases to 80% over the duration of the ability, but in return he regenerates (.5% Maximum Health) health per second for every enemy non-champion in the area, to a cap of (2.5% Maximum Health) that can be healed per second this way, as well as an additional (1% Maximum Health) per enemy champion in the area. Nova has a 24/21/18/15/12 second cooldown.

-E: Astral Chain Archelon casts out a chain of stars that travels in a line with a 1000 unit range at a rate of 500 units per second. The chain deals 25/55/85/115/145+(50% AP) magic damage and slows the first enemy hit by up to 35/45/55/65/75% based on distance traveled for 3 seconds. Astral Chain has a 13/12/11/10/9 second cooldown.

-R: Reality Tear Archelon rips a hole in space, causing a 250 unit line to form in front of him travelling 650 units over 1 second. All enemies hit take 150/200/250+(40% AP) magic damage and are put into stasis for 2.5 seconds. Reality Tear has a 120/105/90 second cooldown.

I like the idea of reality and stars, But don't feel like this is a tank, and his theme is lost in his kit.

Here's why.

Passive Event Horizon - this is very easy to spam every 5 seconds. You get an auto-refresh on your shield every 5 seconds. With some runes, that can be very broken. Won't be fun to play against, and not much outplay to it.

Q Cloak of Starlight - A tank going invisible defeats his purpose of being a tank, I believe this is his gap closer to initiate, but as a tank generally want something that's going to force people to pay attention (Garen run) or quick enough to immediately jump in Malphite R). The invisibility is more like an assassin.

W Nova - sounds like a good move, but its wording is clunking. Say he heals from damaging champions, and less from minions. They both should be on the same cap. You said that, but with more words.

E Astral chain - no grievances.

R Reality Tear - Statis is a really strong CC. I think that cool down is way too short, and damage too high for such good CC that covers such a wide area.
