Adding a tier above challenger

I'm not a challenger player, but what if we add a tier above challenger? Like, don't change anything about challenger itself, just add a tier above it with a higher LP requirement to be in it. For example, putting the requirement at 700-1000 LP but still allow 200 people in challenger. Maybe allow 100 people in the tier above it? I've heard a lot of streamers talk about how they can't show their actual skill level in solo queue. Maybe this could fix that? Who knows. Just a thought.
