I issue a challenge to Riot Games. Can you Make a full on Minion-mancer?

Whether you believe it or not Azir is actually a rather simple minion mancer. The whole ID of a minion-mancer is mass control. Azir at most will only has to worry about positioning which granted is apart of control. Along with that he doesn't really use his minions in all of his abilities. His ult gives the impression of it but he doesn't have nay really control over them besides, "FACE THAT WAY!" and his E is him interacting with his minions.

Yorick really just throws ghouls at you until you die. He has no real control over if they should dodge skill shorts or if they should hide in the bushes for an even more larger surprise. The Donger really just plops down turrets that attack anything in their zone that isn't friendly. He can kind of guide them with his autos but they decay. What i'm talking about are minions who are basically mini champions on the field. They could even be a commando group or something of people like Helmet Bro. A legendary Squad of troops who could challenge even powerful demi gods just be using numbers and superior tactics.

I'll even give you a bit of help, you could think of them as Delta Squad Squad.

With them all spawning in the game at once, sharing all stats and being split up among the troops. The four abilities could be the orders issued to the squad. Even going as far to have special interactions with certain things in the environment I.E. when pointed at a tower a defense order clicked a certain amount of times places X amount of troops to defend a tower.

So will any Rioter take up the challenge to create a full on minion-mancer or is this too hefty of a job because of "technical reasons"? :D

If a Rioter accepts this please leave a comment below. Don't just try it out in the deepest darkest corners of the workplace then randomly pop out years later with a successful kit saying you just had the idea. lol None of that please.

I think there was a similar concept in Heroes of the Storm. One player controls three characters, and each of them have their own death timer. Killing one of them is less rewarding than killing a full-on hero.

I think it would be interesting to do a squad-like champion who can spawn a minion with each spell and controlling them by pressing the spell cast. Maybe the minions can stay permanently until death, and the CD timer begins when the minion dies.

There are many balancing issues that brings with a champion like this. Playing DOTA 2 allows you insight on how broken it can be. It will shift the meta and possibly just cause the champion to be permabanned from ranked/competitive play. There is no counter play to something like this except using AOE comps. So no, I don't think they'll ever make a champion like this. The closest they'll ever do is Azir.
