Rewards for community concepts used by Riot (Poll)

I don't even know how often Riot has used skin or champion concepts originating from the community but do they reward the original creator by giving them the champion/ skin or something? For example if Kalista's character (general feel, kit, lore, etc.) had been suggested by a player a while ago (not saying that is true, its an example) would that player get Kalista for free when she is released. I know we suggest these champions and skins because we want to see them in the game but it would be cool if Riot gave good creators a little reward, whatever that might be, for their contribution to the League.

Edit: I realize my poll is flawed, I should have combined champ and skin into one, also others have suggested monetary compensation which I didn't think of at the time. Sorry for my oversight.

should get money for them using your intellectual property

Riot has never used a fan-made champion and probably never will, way too many legal issues even if you're completely fine with it.

There have been champions made based off of fan-made champion, like Braum.

But the chances of Riot coming to you and saying "Hey we would like to make your champion a real thing" are 0, unless you work at Riot.

Yes but what if more than one person works on an equal part of a champion what should happen?

Everyone seems caught up on the money point. I included that just so that people had more options if I missed a popular opinion. This post was more for the idea of an individual getting the champion/skin on release for their contribution. If this were the case it would not require a legal clarification in the same way that getting tristana and alistar don't when you support LoL on other sites. In both cases you are adding to what Riot has created. In one case by the show of support and increased publicity on Facebook or Twitter, and by your contribution to the in-game skins and champions available for players to enjoy in the other.

I in no way want people suing Riot over the use of their ideas, I just think it would be cool of them to be able to say "Hey thanks, here's what you helped start."
