Donathan, Leader of the Frontlines

Stats: Damage - 30% Health - 50% Magic - 80% Difficulty - 75%

Attributes: Primary - Support Secondary - Marksman

Abilities:

• Passive - Brothers in Arms Allies near Donathan will take 10% less damage from all sources.

• First Ability - Courageous Ally Once used on an ally, Donathan and the selected ally champion will gain health and both physical and magic damage is increased for 7 seconds.

• Second Ability - Rally of Resistance When active, Donathan and nearby allies will gain bonus armor, magic resist, and tenacity. This ability consumes mana as it remains active.

• Third Ability - Continue the March Donathan removes slows or stun effects (Except suppresses) from a target ally and both he and the target ally increases their movement speed afterwards that decays overtime.

• Ultimate - Magnum of the Front Lines Donathan transforms into an unstoppable leader, wielding a powerful magnum to demoralize the enemy team and bring power to his allies. Donathan can only be slowed but cannot use other abilities when this is active. Enemies near Donathan will have decreased attack, magic, and true damage. When Donathan targets an enemy with his basic attacks, including structures, the target's armor and magic resistance is decreased until they are out of combat (So allies can deal additional damage to whoever Donathan targets). This ability lasts for 7 seconds.

Tips:

• Playing as Donathan -

Stay close to your minions during early game. Brothers in Arms applies on minions and ally summons. Despite not being a tank, Magnum of the Front Lines require you to move into the front lines in team fights to sabotage the enemy marksman and mage hiding behind the tanks. Make sure you are near as much allies as you can get to in order to take less damage as possible with Brothers in Arms.

• Playing against Donathan -

Donathan takes a lot of damage if he fights alone. Always attack Donathan if he is farming lanes. Silence Donathan as often as you can. Using silence abilities also affects Brothers in Arms. Keep Donathan away from his teammates during team fights. He is least effective when he's away.

Synergy:

• Works well with: Corki tends to take his dogfights behind enemy lines and within the hot zones. Donathan can float alongside him to point where he aims the guns with the Magnum of the Front Lines ability. Jinx needs a babysitter if she gets too reckless. Donathan excites Jinx even more just by using Courageous Ally to influence her even more to blow up everything in sight. Even in death, Donathan's influence gives Sion one last chance to unleash an even more powerful rage before completely dying.

• Struggles against: Emperor's Divide has Azir's men stand guard and well against the incoming attack led by Donathan, leaving his team to deal with trying to break through and impassible wall. Kassadin can silence the influence of Donathan with his Null Sphere, taking away the morality of Donathan's team. Mordekaiser makes use of a complete replica of a powerful leader. By using Children of the Grave on Donathan while killing him in the process, especially when he uses Magnum of the Front Lines, Mordekaiser's ghost replica of Donathan will bring his powerful influence into his control, stealing away the other team's will to win the fight.

Lore: Donathan was a gifted soldier who has a bloodline of leaders who have led many major battles that have existed all over Valoran. Even ones that included the rivalry between Demacia and Noxus. When Donathan was a private in the Demacian military, he's always been looked down upon by everyone else, including Prince Jarvan IV whom was not aware of the stories behind Donathan's family. The stories behind Donathan's past generation has long been forgotten since the League of Legends came about, settling the many wars that have taken place constantly all over Valoran. Donathan wasn't even aware of his own family's history but their courage and spirit has past on into him.

Throughout his years of training, he has always been brought down by the other soldiers but has continued to try and catch up. He looked rather fragile and weak at the time but he continues to grow stronger as he trains for battle. He didn't get as much positive attention as he should have but at least his body became convincing enough to at least participate in more major operations. He manages to make use of himself in the battlefield, especially when he uses his family's magnum, a powerful magnum that has been passed down through generations of his family's existence. Of course, not aware of his family history, he's not aware of the power behind the weapon. But the weapon was giving him more power as he continues to fight in the military. He may not notice the weapon giving him power but he considers the weapon as good luck.

By the time he became well known enough to take great battles in the front lines, more of the soldiers, including Jarvan IV wanted to see if he's still the rookie they remember him to be the first time he joined.

Throughout a major battle against Noxian soldiers, Donathan's group in the front lines were all falling apart, even Jarvan IV and his fellow comrades, Garen , and Xin Xiao were no match for the endless numbers of ruthless Noxians. Soon, the Demacian soldiers all fell weak, ready to submit defeat.

But Donathan. . . For some reason, he's not willing to give up at all. Instead, he continues to fight. Firing his lucky pistol at the Noxian soldiers that come after him. Soon, the pistol began to recognize his courage and will to fight and began to empower him with great fighting spirit. It was then Donathan's family power had been realized. He began a rally through the battlefield, bringing back his comrades into the fight, leading them through the endless Noxian wave, crushing every one of them in their path. Demacian soldiers got hit with arrows and blades but they still kept marching. Even Donathan who was in front of everyone got hit but he still leads the march. It was becoming a very violent march and yet all of them manages to survive the battle. The Noxians retreated, giving victory to the Demacian soldiers all thanks to Donathan's spirit and camaraderie.

Donathan was promoted to the high ranks, gaining respect from the prince and the rest of the high council of Demacia. They wanted him to represent his leadership, taking him to the Fields of Justice where his allies await.

Appearance: Donathan's basic appearance has him wearing Demacian light armor. He has black hair and is clean shaven. He looks around his thirties. His pistol doesn't look like a Hextech pistol. It's a magnum firearm with a musket design. When he uses his ultimate, he wears a cape on his back and wears a golden suit. His magnum firearm transforms into gold color. The sound for his weapon, it sounds like a basic pistol but once he uses his ultimate, it sounds really powerful.
