Bonus Wild Card Matches and Cosplay Commentators at worlds.

Television has changed. I feel as though these features could spice up the E-sports scene and give the viewers a little something extra for their participation.

[Wild Card Matches] Wild card matches are bonus rounds at the end of worlds that add something relatively new for the fan's enjoyment. After the finals match, (or if the teams go 2/2) a new map is revealed (or an existing one) where players must fight with new and interesting rule sets( like ascension, ARAM,) The winner of this bonus round could either win worlds (if going by the 2/2 proc) or get a bonus if they've already won 3 games.

An example wild card match would be something like this.

• 1 life 1 death* Players only have 1 life.

There is no regeneration at fountain.

There are no items to buy (maybe? power could be gained upon just leveling up)

Upon death the player will be able to assist his team by scouting as a roaming ghostly ward (targetable like a kalista roaming ward?)

Map wide debuff like increasingly powerful slowing aura (blizzard) or a creeping deadly poison (acid fog) that forces players to face each other.

Map wide traps that either debilitate or hurt the players if they are not agile enough to avoid them. (Tar pit that slows or roots the player for a short time)

Could be 5v5 or free for all.

The winner of this match could be rewarded in a number of ways.

[Cosplay Commentators] Cosplay commentators can help in providing a truly immersive experience at worlds. Imagine being able to meet the legendary Swain IRL???!

Examples of cosplay commentators / casters could be

A female caster dresses up as (Zyra senpai T-T blushu-blushu); a male caster dresses up as . (Primetime Draaaaaven skin comes to life!)

Perhaps scripted exchanges between the various casters as the match goes on?

Think of all the possibilities!

I understand these things are a pretty large investment of both time and money. I feel, however, that the pros far outweigh the cons.

Imagine the future of League E-sports, where fans can revel in the ever evolving world of online gaming!
