Hi there,

For many years i have been playing league. i play on NA server with a ping of 350 to 400. It is quite impossible to play with such latency which make many of us in Mauritius having a bad time to compete to get a high elo. Many new regions are getting there opportunity to compete in WORLDS and MSI, but here in Mauritius; generally in Africa as a whole we do not have such privilege. We do have players who want to compete in such high elo games but we can not play at our full potential with restriction to NA or EUW server. Riots Games has become an uprising organisation; with many servers and customers based ideology, much appreciated, but we still have unsatisfied customers, players. To me implementing a server or a part of the business in a developing country like Mauritius will help not only riot to get more customers and be more competitive but also will help the locals to enhance their productivity. As you might know internet in Mauritius is so retrained bu Orange co or Emtel co. They both exploit their customers with no adequate amount of internet and poor internet for the users. They are somehow sucking money from customers. From the knowledge in building a server Riot Games can also make an income by expanding its horizon to compete on this market; diversification to internet provider as in my opinion, Riot Games do have the knowledge to compete on this market. Mauritius do have great potential but competition is utterly necessary in this country. Do note there are barriers and problems like any countries but Mauritius do encourage many for investment and opening a business. The echoed unemployment rate is do high, and computer literacy is also high but we are mainly a developing country which need innovations and potential competitive markets to remove price discrimination off the way. Vital thoughts Riot Games will win big in the implementation of a branch in Mauritius as Mauritius is known to be the star of the Indian Ocean.

P.S: this is my personal thoughts, i am just a gamer not an economist or anything as investor or legal advisor. I just told my thoughts out loud since my country is based on price discriminatory on internet usage. Many gamer complaint for the slow internet and issues revolving in gaming, we do not have universities who want to give scholarships to gaming student making many not willing to go to universities in Mauritius. The thoughts according to me must change as Mauritius is the core to access Africa securely.

Thanks for your time reading, a gamer who want to voice out his words, Siphon33. (DO NOT JUDGE ON RANKED PLEASE AS IT IS JUST OUT OF CONTEXT IF YOU DO SO, BE REALISTIC AND OPEN MINDED :) )
