Pokemon Re-Designed as League Champs #2
A couple weeks ago, I made a post about potential Move Sets and abilities a Pokemon would have if they were translated into League Champs. The important part was THEME. The theme of their abilities had to match up with what that Pokemon is commonly known while matching its moves to their Pokemon game counter parts. For example...
My first version of this idea was converting Pikachu into League, as he is the mascot of Pokemon. I made its Q, Electro Ball, which in the Pokemon games does more damage the faster you are than your opponent. In League, I gave the effect of doing more damage based on the difference in Movement Speed either champion had. And I paired that with Agility as Pikachu's W, which in game boosts a Pokemon's speed by two stages (Or twice its speed). In League, it would've been more like Teemo's W that passively grants Movement Speed and can activated for a burst of MS.
The sets don't necessarily have to be competitively viable as far as the Pokemon games go, so long as the way they're translated into League is thematically and competitively viable.
So I figure, since I did Pokemon's mascot last time, I'll do my favorite Pokemon this time (Or at least the final evolution of my favorite Pokemon). That Pokemon being Swampert.
Swampert - The Mud Fish Pokemon
Passive - Torrent - If Swampert falls below a one third of its HP, Swampert will gain a large boost to Attack Damage and Speed for a short time
Q - Aqua Jet - Swampert rockets forward at set distance or until it collides with terrain, damaging all units it moves through scaling with AD.
- If Swampert has Mega Evolved, Aqua Jet will do bonus damage based on the enemies missing HP.
W - Muddy Water - Swampert creates a small zone of Muddy Water on a target location that prevents any enemy Basic Attacks from connecting with anything in the zone.
- If Swampert has Mega Evolved, it gains a boost to Movement Speed while in Muddy Water.
E - Hammer Arm - When activated, Swampert's next Basic Attack slams the ground, slowing the target briefly, applying on hit effects, and doing a small percentage of their max HP as damage.
- If Swampert has Mega Evolved, Hammer Arm knocks the enemy up before slowing them. The knock up cannot be applied for again for a short time but the enemy can still be slowed and damaged.
R - Mega Evolution - Swampert Mega Evolves into Mega Swampert gaining a boost to its Max HP, Attack Damage, and extra effects on its Basic Abilities. While active, Swampert also gains Swift Swim which boosts its Movement Speed greatly when moving through river
