Can we PLEASE get an autolock when the timer runs out in ranked champ select?

I have several thousand games played on this account since season two. A majority of those games have been played in the blind pick game mode, where the client will lock in the champion you have selected even if you don't physically hit the "lock in" button. I cannot tell you how frustrating it is to be removed from the queue, lose LP, and receive a temporary timeout because I instinctively forget to hit the "lock in" button. What does it hurt anyway? Instead of being ejected from the queue and receiving punishment, it just locks in the champion. I can't see a reason for not having this implemented on every game mode.
