Im a huge fan of nocturne. I like his abilities and lore. Theres only one problem. He's not very viable. And his jungle ganks rely very heavily on his ult. Riot uses a balance that makes every character op in their own right. Which makes it so almost every character is op and therefore the balance is there. But noc is painfully balanced. Making him unbalanced in the league balance system. Understand what im trying to say? So what would u think of a bit of a noc rework?
There is a class rework/rooster update, whatever you wanna call it, coming at the end of year. It's going to be most likely Assassins and i think 
should be on the List. He should feel more like an assassin, his current kit doesn't fith with the assassin playstyle, he is more like a bruiser-diver. He has no mobility or escapes, he is just an AA champion, like

& both have the same issues, they are classified as assassins, but their current kit doesn't make them feel like one. Both kits are really outdated and definitely need some work. If they decide to rework him, giving him a fresh new kit with some mobility and less dependent on his Ultimate would be awesome. I really want to so see this champion on the mid lane, so yeah, that's my opinion about him.
