*New Amazing Champion Concept *

This is an original champion concept and through a lot of work i have created this concept so please try not to hate on it so much, i have put a lot of hard work into this and if you dont like it then just continue on your way. Here is a layout of my champion design and i hope you like it


         **Nikolai- The Coiler**

Here is a rundown of his abilities:

Passive- "Power Surge" Every___ abilities Nikolai's next ability does 20% increased magic damage- after the surged attack all of Nikolai's abilities goes on a 5 second cool down (Does not apply to "Chain Link" or "War Of Currents") during the cool down period Nikolai has 20% reduced movement speed (cant figure out a good number for the passive)

Q- "Tesla Coil" 0 second cool down (80 mana) Nikolai sends a Tesla coil to a target location dealing 80/90/100/110/115 physical damage and 30/40/50/60/70 magic damage on hit. When all available coils have been placed the next Q will return the coils to Nikolai, coils that pass through enemy's deal 30/40/50/60/70 magic damage and applies a 10% slow for 2 seconds (stacks up to 5 times) Nikolai can have up to 5 coils at once, one coil for each point into Q

W- "Static Pulse" 10 second cool down (80 mana) Causes all tesla coils to emit an AOE pulse that increases allies armor and MR by 20% and reduces enemies armor and MR by 10% for 2 seconds (can stack up to 5 times)

E- "Chain Link" Toggled ability (10/15/20/30/40 mana per second) All placed coils connect with electricity , when enemies pass through the electricity it deals 70/80/90/100/120 magic damage on the first second and then take an additional 20/30/40/50/60 true damage every second they remain in the electricity. the current also applies a 40% slow that decays to 10% over 4 seconds and then stays at 10% for an additional 2 seconds

R- &quot**;War Of Currents**" AC Mode- Abilities do the normal amounts of damage and consume the regular amounts of mana.

DC Mode- Abilities do an additional 10/20/40% magic damage and mana costs are doubled. While in DC mode Nikolai has a 20% decreased movement speed

Strengths

  1. Great utility with all the abilities
  2. Can zone of entire areas using his e and q placement
  3. Can enclose enemies using e and q placement

Weaknesses

  1. No Mobility
  2. Reduced movement speed
  3. Requires a lot of skill and in game sense
  4. very vunerable to CC and can end up loosing all his mana by not being able to toggle his e

Alright, this kit has an interesting style to it. I see his gameplay is based heavily around setup. With that taken into account, his passive should reward or assist him in this playstyle. As of now, he seems to punish himself for making plays.

Secondly his Q also does this. I think his Q shouldn't disrupt his area of control and rather have it so he destroys a coil to create a new one at max coils. Additionally, allowing enemies to destroy coils means he can't just throw them down and have free zoning, which I think is what his passive is meant to limit.

The W and E are great. He has many options with coil placement in a teamfight.

He needs a more impactful ultimate. The theme is cool, but it's purely passive.

So my suggestions are make him feel more rewarding for his playstyle and give him an impactful ult. For ult reference, see Maokai, he has a fairly passive ult that still has impact.
