There are so many amazing Aurelion Sol concept arts out there and you go with what again
Lemme start off by saying I'm not the ultimate one that plays or even cares about Sol, it's my husband. After seeing everything from in-work to the final design with chromas and splash, what the hell?
Not gonna lie to you, but when the community asks for something, we don't mean just come up with whatever you can in the span of 2 hours, but please just deliver us something that we would want to spend our money on. Not just because we play this specific champion, but we would actually enjoy the thematic. Look at how much effort you put into Lulu and Ashe's new skins. Those skins look like a fucking masterpiece. I'm glad Braum got a good skin, it's a very nice themed skin (which was a fan concept art, btw, so i doesn't mean you can't take our ideas at all).
The Sol skin looks like a fucking toy, man. It just doesn't look right from any angle. It barely has any good particles in game, the color is dull and what the hell are the tiny ships? They look so sad. There are so many amazing concept arts out there. This person actually put a few together in this old thread. Thank God to all the creativity in the world, thank you to the artists that took time to drew their ideas. Look at the fucking dark emperor Sol concept. Not gonna lie, but even the Vlad skin was awful. Why the hell is he holding a fucking water shaped pebble compared to the actual blood in his default and other skins. Could've given it some whirl. Even Diana's was just bleh, the skins should've been something around 750-975. Shen's skin was also bleh. I have many friends that play Shen and only bought that skin out of love for the champ, not because they liked it. The artists that work on the splashes are amazing, they really show their talent, but we're not playing the splash arts in game, we're using the actual model.
Also, have you seen the Fireworks Sol? Fucking legendary. I honor all the artists in the world..besides the furries.
