Better Gifting abilities

I really like the whole gifting thing, even tho Ive never received a gift except from you Riot at the beginning of this year. But i would really love it more if i was able to gift someone a skin that i already own. I see why you only have it the way you do, so people spend more money. I just think you should be able to do it either way. I mean the way i see it, is people are going to have to buy the skins regardless. To own you must buy. I could gift a skin i already own then go buy another one or the same one. Its really the same thing. Or maybe i just don't want a certain skin anymore and then I would be able to gift it to someone and then maybe go buy a different one I like for the same champion. Please Riot i would really really love it if you would implement this.
