Throne Recalls?

So I've noticed that recalls that have some kind of thrones in them are now really popular. Why exactly? Do they sell so well or are they easy to make? Personally I don't like them as I like more flavorful or active recalls, but some of the thrones are nice like Victorious Ashe, but yeah what's with the sudden throne spam?

To my knowledge, the only skins with throne recalls are Victorious Zed and Ashe, and then the god King skins. Is there another I’m forgetting?

In any case, the popularity of those skins is likely more to do with the popularity of the champions, as well as the limited run of the championship skins
