Rune System OP? Unfair Advantages
All of you should be familiar with the runes system? Well I want to talk about a problem with ARP Runes and runes alike. I was playing a game of Mid Teemo because I was bored, I got against a Zed. I was thinking "How is he doing damage that big" and so I went and asked him "What runes are you using?" he answered 30 ARP runes. Usually the base armor is 30. So his runes took all that away. Zed proceeded to buy a Youmuu's Ghostblade witch gave him 20+ ARP. For some reason going negative in ARP means more damage. So 20 ARP means about how much "20-30%" more damage compared to a runeless Zed.
So how much do these Runes cost? With rough math they cost somewhere in 6000 IP witch means a lot of games. "Why is this important" you may ask. Well if you play many games daily. Then getting that 6000 IP isn't that hard, I might take weeks or months, but still doable, but what about players that play casually? Well they'd have to play way more than the Hardcore gamer to get the advantages. When you're a casual gamer you may be more interested in buying new champions with new skills and gameplay to keep it fresh am I right?
So this makes a serious unbalance in the game itself. Casual gamers may want to even quit playing because they're wondering how they're not doing as well with the same items as the enemy.
Heck even I want champions. I don't really want to buy a 0.03 increase on my stats with the same price of Annie a solid midlaner. But if you watch deeper. You will see that the 0.03 stat increase is huge when it's stacked.
This is quite serious, but as myself I really can't do anything about this. So what I'd like to see is that Riot would seek a new solution for these Runes.
