Description: This is a follow up to my previous concept, this is Leon's brother, Uther. A young knight training to become one of Demacia's new age of elite warriors. This character, like Leona , uses that classic combination of sword and shield. Only his particular combination is a kite shield and longsword his size. Not only would his backstory be based on his training into becoming one of the great in the Demacian military but also his relationship with his family. To grow up without the loving attention from especially his father. So let's see what his kit would look like.

General Stats: Class - Tank

Utility - 1/3 Attack - 2/3 Mobility - 2/3 Control - 1/3 Toughness - 3/3

Secondary Bar - Energy Secondary Attribute - Melee Style - 100% Physical, 0% Magical

Difficulty - 2/3

Abilities: Passive - Counterstrategy For each Auto-Attack struck by an enemy champion within range of his melee attack, he retaliates with a counter attack, dealing true damage 20% of his total attack damage. These counterstrikes have a 5 second cool-down for each champion that has hit Uther with Auto-Attacks at least once.

First Ability - Rapid Response When activated, Uther gains additional movement speed when moving towards his target. Upon reach his target, he will unleash a shield bash which will push them back at the direction he's facing. The faster he is moving, the more damage he deals and the further distance the shield bashing will toss his target.

Second Ability - Composite Armor When activated, Uther will reduce incoming magic and physical damage from all attacks for 5 seconds.

Third Ability - Flanking Tactic Uther rolls towards the direction of the cursor, evading all ranged attacks while rolling but will stop and be staggered if he rolls into an enemy champion or terrain. The enemy will also stagger upon impact and will take physical damage.

Ultimate - Code of Honor When activated, for 10 seconds, Uther will use a certain stance that can block incoming melee attacks coming from the direction towards the cursor and reduces incoming damage from ranged attacks by half. By using the left cursor button, Uther will also unleash a powerful strike, dealing Physical Damage based on his total Armor and Magic Resist to all enemies caught in line. He can only use this attack once for every casting of this ability. Critical melee strikes from enemy champions will stagger both Uther and the melee champion who struck him with that attack.

Lore: The Golden Age of Demacia would soon come to an end. But it does not mean that the pride of Demacia would cease to exist. Someday, the Golden Age will return to its former glory. Someday, those who live in that new Golden Age will fight to keep it going for many more centuries to come. But until that next Golden Age arises, the new generation of Demacia's greatest warriors must face the challenge of taking on this brave new world.

Originating from the outside world, there came and lived a family of a couple and their young sons. They came from the harsh worlds in search of living in peace. To raise their children in a loving environment where all the neighbors smile at one another, treat each other well, and lend helping hands to those in need. Among the greatest of these people are the warriors who protect them. The great knights of Demacia smile upon the citizens who cheer at these brave warriors and their prestigious campaigns and efforts in keeping their holy city in its prime. Among the citizens looked a youngman who was inspired by the great knights of Demacia. The Paladins especially, higher ranks of the military, inspire this youngman to seek the day where he would join the ranks to not only be part of what it means to be a warrior of Demacia, but to be among the greatest.

That day would soon be realized thanks to the boy's passion and efforts. . .

The boy known as Uther lived with his family in a small cottage. They moved from a far away place called Piltover due to the dangers of the outside world. He lived his childhood in Demacia, and his mother had recently given birth to his youngest brother. And his father was a proud man, looking to see the day his children would achieve great success. Although, it seems he and his parents don't really see things eye to eye. His father in particular. In fact, it seems that none of his brothers get the kind of attention they wanted from their father who was always at work during the day and somewhere else during the moonlight. But never the less, it did not stop him or his younger brothers from pursuing the path in entering Demacian Knighthood.

So they all began to train. . .

In the eyes of passing knights, they've witnessed the techniques practices by these young boys. While they appear sloppy from the way they held their swords, they saw potential in these warriors. Particularly the eldest of the group, Uther. So each day these children would train each other, a knight is sent to keep watch to see if they are continuously training themselves to prove to the generals that they have what it takes to serve as their greatest. Until one day, one of the generals paid a visit to this family. They offered the children proper training. Show them how a real Demacian warrior fights. A great opportunity to not only aid the children in achieving their dreams in becoming the greatest of Demacia's knights, but to become the faces of Demacia's future. The new generation of warriors who will lead the next generation of the Golden Age. Their parents decided, however, that it was not up to them to decide for their children. Instead, that choice was up to them. It was no surprise that Uther and his younger brothers would take the offer without question. And so it began their first journey into Demacian Knighthood.

As they trained under mentorship of one of the generals, Uther proved that he was the greatest of his brothers, able to master the techniques sooner than they could. But not only was he good at doing it, but he was also willing to aid his younger brothers in achieving that mastery. Throughout their childhood, Uther and his brothers bonded together to help each other train to achieve their dreams in joining the ranks of the Demacian Military. They look up to Uther to speak for their squad. But because they were all treated equally as he demanded that they should, the generals began calling them, Children of the Round Table because they were all treated equally and see each other equally.

For such a young age, these young knights were able to achieve so much, already getting close to being as good as the elite warriors. In fact, when their training outpost was attacked by Noxians, it was the Children of the Round Table who all single handedly took down the invaders with Uther striking the killing blow at the leader of their adversaries. He and the young knights were seen as heroes that day. They earned the title as knights of the new generation. They were honored with the privilege to lead the new generation of the Golden Age. Train with other young knights to follow in their footsteps. Uther and his brothers proudly accepted this and returned home to tell their family about the news of their new titles.

But instead of seeing the face of a proud father, they saw no father at all. . .

In fact, this was a re-acquiring problem in the family. Their father was never home to listen to their stories. Often working at long shifts and out at night doing something else. They do not know what it was he was doing but it was hogging their family time. Uther was bothered the most about their father's neglect. They had to learn a lot of things on their own, especially whenever their mother would get too sick to take care of them. They learned how to cook, they had to clean, even fought their own fights with bullies instead of having a father to look out for them.

Even though they had a glorious childhood training with the generals, it felt empty without a loving father to tell how proud he was at what they've achieved.

It was until they were taught about the forbiddance of magic. Why the existence of such power is not something to be praised. Instead, it is something to be shunned. Should anyone practice it, there's no telling what that kind of power would grant them. Even if they are within the family, they must not practice dangerous sorcery or they would face punishment. Imprisonment at best, Execution at worst. Uther believed in his brothers and he even believed in his parents that such sorcery can never be practice.

But the children continue to feel neglected by their father. Unable to recognize his face anymore. Feeling left out from all the things he does. Not even coming home to the dinner table anymore. This angered Uther and to the point where he wanted to find out what he was doing and he did whatever it took to learn the truth.

One day, he finally did. And what he found out left him in shock.

It turns out his father practicing a form of dangerous destruction magic in the form of oddly built contraptions studied by certain books he had kept inside his bedroom. They were designs of a powerful weapon capable of destroying even the strongest walls that the Demacians could build. Upon learning the truth, Uther knew that such a creation should not exist. Therefore, arresting his father was something that must be done. And considering all the neglect they went through, this wasn't much of a problem for Uther.

The guards came to their homes and arrested their father and their mother for letting such practices go unheard. They thanked the boys for their effort in putting their own parents to justice.

But the crisis was just beginning. . .

After the sight where the father conducted his evil experiment was burnt down, Uther returned home later to find that someone else was also conducting experiments of his own, continuing their father's work. It was the work of his youngest brother, Leon, the only child to not join the brothers in their years of training. He was the one who drew these other pictures and took away the ones that served such quality. He and the young knights went to search for their youngest brother in order to stop him from completing this evil experiment.

But upon find his tracks leading to an abandoned shack, they were too late. . .

Barging through the gate of the old shack came a weapon made of steel, unyielded by strong men or horses. It had metal treads that pushed its metallic body forward and it did not stop for any solid stones that stood in its path. Those stones were crushed.

It was up to the young knights to destroy this weapon, to not let it escape through the main gates. They and the other knights did whatever they could to stop the weapon on its tracks. But its impenetrable metal and its weapons of mass destruction was to great for them to bare. Its cannon blew a large hold into the gate and many knights and commoners were killed by the blast. Many more were crushed along the weapon's path.

When it escaped through the gates, it was only Uther and his knight brothers who pursued the weapon. They had horsebacks to help them keep up. They tried everything they could to stop the weapon from escaping. But one of them was foolish enough to stand in its path. As consequence, he was crushed. Both him and his steed were reduced into a puddle of blood and guts and scraps of their shattered armor. Uther was shocked at what has happened but he knew it still needed to be stopped no matter the cost. But the more they continued to pursue, the more impossible and more dangerous it was for them and their steed to continue onward. As they fought against the weapon, it fires back with its mini-cannon, shredding the brothers apart. But their were few of them left to continue the pursuit. . .

Then fewer and fewer were left. . . until finally, the final blow from its main cannon left Uther wounded in a pile of dead corpses of the brothers who stood beside him. His only family, his shield brothers, brothers in arms, fellow warriors to the very end, all were met with a horrifying death.

All in the hands of their youngest brother. The traitor known as Leon. . .

Uther was left traumitized that day. He cried for vengeance after mourning the death of his brothers. It was a dark day for Demacia. A near end of its Golden Age. Uther was now alone to continue what his brothers had started. They all died so young. They had hopes and dreams. They were the faces of their people. Now they were gone and it was a great loss for all who survived that tragedy.

Uther swore that he would one day seek vengeance upon his youngest brother. He would find Leon, destroy his weapon, slay him and leave his remains to rot in the cold mod where the rodents and insects would feast on his flesh afterwards.

Upon his pre-teens, Uther demanded that he'd go after Leon after learning of his trip to Piltover. But even after he's achieved so much and he's proven to become one of the best warriors in the next generation, he's still just a boy and he still has a long way to go before he's ready to face anything and everything.

But Uther refused to wait. He disobeys and sets out on his own quest, driven by his warrior spirit and his starvation for vengeance. He wanted his brother dead. He wanted his creation to be destroyed. But after learning that it had been exploited by scientists back at Piltover, that's when he knew that this new journey wasn't just a vendetta. Now it was about taking power out of everyone's hands. Whatever his had created, it could lead mankind into endless destruction and chaos. The same goes with everything else in this "City of Progress". All that they've created were too powerful for mankind.

"These Scientists are granting the world the power they do not deserve. The world they imagine is nothing compared to the evil reality that they are about to create. Therefore, Piltover should no longer exist," - Uther

Appearance: Uther is around his pre-teens, so about ages 13 to 14. He wears plated armor and wields a one-handed longsword and a kiteshield. He doesn't wear a helmet in his classic skin however. You know how heroes are in showing off their faces to the world. He's basically your classic hero character.

Skins:

  • Crusader Uther
  • Dark Knight Uther

Note(s):

  • The names, Arther and Lancelot are overused so I decided to use his father's name, Uther instead.
  • While it's nice to have Leona wield that classic set of weapons, her character isn't exactly the kind I was expecting which is why I made this.
  • His ultimate is based off of the fighting mechanics in For Honor.
  • The names of both Uther's abilities and Leon's abilities are based off of the research you look through in Forge of Empires.

Welp, that's all my characters for now. But I'll think of something the next time I do this. In the mean time, I look forward to your suggestions. And take a look at my previous concept if you've missed it:

problems that I immediately noticed:

  • knight
  • named Uther
  • who is a noble person

sounds a lot like a certain paladin
