Lore

Far beneath the Guardian's Ocean, a series of chasms and many mile long caverns rest in inky darkness. Here, creatures foreign even to the Void lurk. Rumors of its existence have not even spread above the surface of the ocean, and neither the great rulers of Valoran, nor the wisest of lore-keepers know even an inkling about what lurks down there. From colossal anglerfish, to island-sized krakens, the great deep is a place where darkness reigns and the weak and foolish get eaten, but there is an advanced civilization, of a species closely related to the Marai, but built to withstand the darkness and intense water pressure. Ruled by them is Undassa, the Queen of the Great Deep. To the Deep Marai, the surface is something of legend itself, very few have found a way out of the mazelike caverns that make up the abyss, and those that do never return. It was a literal breakthrough when an earthquake revealed a tunnel straight upwards, and Undassa herself was prepared to lead a scouting party out. At first, all seemed well, but the scouts began succumbing to injury from the rapid change of water pressure. Only Undassa survived, thanks to the strength gifted to her by her royal lineage. She cursed the surface, vowing to cover it in water, so that her race may finally flourish. It wasn't long after she learned to travel on land that word of an artifact known as a Moonstone reached her.

Stats:

HP: 445 (+90) HP/5: 7(+0.55) MP: 220(+38) AD: 54 (+3.8) AS: 0.679(+2.6%) AR: 17(+3) MR: 30 MS: 330 Range: 175

Abilities

Passive: Stinging Venom Attacking a foe marks the target. When the target leaves combat, the mark is consumed, dealing tremendous magic damage over a short period of time.

  • Damage: 40/60/80/100 + 0.8AP
  • Duration: 2 seconds

Q: Lamprey Strike Undassa fires a Lamprey at a target dealing magic damage. The target gets a directional speedboost similar to Vayne's passive, speeding them up when they run towards Undassa, and slowing them down when they run away. As long as the effect remains, Undassa has greatly increased lifeseteal.

*Range: 500 Cooldown: 15/14/13/12/11 Damage: 75/95/115/135 + 0.8AP Bonus Lifesteal: 10/20/30/40/50%

** W: Writhe!** Undassa begins flailing her tentacles for 2 seconds, gaining movespeed and dealing damage every 1/2 second tick to foes around her for a total of 4 ticks. The final tick is a slam that deals 50% of the ability's total damage, and doing on-hit effects as if it were an autoattack. * *Range: 275 *Cooldown: 25/23/21/19/17 *MS Boost: 25/30/35/40/45% Damage Total: 20/50/80/110/140 + 120% of AD

E: Bioluminescence Undassa raises her sceptre, dealing magic damage to foes around her. She gets a shield that scales off her AP. In addition, her attacks become empowered, dealing bonus AP physical damage on hit, and attacking at a greatly increased speed as long as she has the shield.

*Range: 300 *Cooldown: 20/18/17/16/14 *Max Duration: 4 seconds *Shield Amount: 100/155/210/265/320 + 1.1AP *Bonus AD: 10/15/20/25/30 + 0.15AP Bonus AS: 30/40/50/60/70%

R: Greatness of the Deep Undassa sprays ink in a large area, shredding enemy armor and MR. She is stealthed for as long as she remains in the area, but is revealed if she gets close to a champion (like Evelyn but with a much shorter range). As long as she cannot be seen by an enemy champion, she can freely recast this ability to blink with a very short cooldown. Every time she blinks, all marks applied by her passive are consumed immediately.

*Range (around self): 700 Cooldown: 200/180/160 Armor and MR Penalty: 10/30/50

Writhe simply cannot work. Pop it early and flash into the enemy team with Hydra to deal probably upward of 300-400% AD (when adding the hydra active) damage around yourself, which also heals you up for a massive chunk, that's worthy of an ultimate, except it's on a 10s cd (well 300s technically if you account for the flash, but you aren't required to flash). Similarly, it would probably be much stronger than expected if you account for items likes Wits' End or Nashor's Tooth.

Similarly, the ultimate allows for gigantic DPS on top of already giving you a great amount of utility. If the blink is on a cooldown similar to the innate's duration, that means you're adding 50+0.4 AP DPS to any damage she was already doing (on top of kiting like a queen). It would basically ends up as her being a Raid boss while inside her ultimate.

Otherwise, I kinda like the kit, but it feels extremely disjointed. You have lifesteal AS and AD boosts, but only AP scalings and overall more of a mage kit. This would probably lead to either Gunblade and/or Guinsoo being basically mandatory, or one of the 2 playstyle being a noob trap that is 100% unviable.

She seems pretty sweet, but Bioluminescence might be too powerful, but also lacking in duration.

The only thing i have trouble digesting is this: Shield Amount: 100/155/210/265/320 + 1.1AP

The base and scaling on that shield is insane. Here's some other shields for comparison: Janna: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 70% AP) Lulu: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 60% AP) Karma: 80 / 120 / 160 / 200 / 240 (+ 50% AP) Shen: 60 / 100 / 140 / 180 / 220 (+ 60% AP)

As you can see, Riot really loves the 80/120/160/200/240 scaling, and is not a fan of huge ap ratios.

Hell, the shield outclasses AP sion's 100 / 150 / 200 / 250 / 300 (+ 90% AP). The only similar shield i can think of is AP Shen, who's ult is 250 / 550 / 850 (+ 135% AP) on a 160 second cd at lvl 18

Also, as someone has mentioned, the synergy is all over the place. Lifesteal, AP scalings, AD scalings, AD scaling off AP, there doesn't seem to be an optimal way to build her. Perhaps you should give a sample build?
