Xerius is a late game, semi immobile, aoe nuker. A lot of his base stats and his scalings especially on his e and his ult will be lowered eventually, but just looking to get the concept out right now. He can be played Top, Mid, and would be viable in the jungle, but he is designed for the mid lane. I didn't write lore because i am quite bad at writing, but in the lore, Xerius would be some fashion of necromancer, or shadow mage. Can be build AP or AD.

Resource Bar: Force of Shadow Auto Attacks grant 1 Force of Shadow. Abilities grant 5 Force of Shadow. At 50 Force of Shadow your abilities have bonus effects. At 100 Force of Shadow your ultimate becomes available. Also, every point of Force of Shadow gives you .0125/.025/.05% attack speed, up to a max of 50% at level 16.

Passive: After 18/14/10 seconds, Xerius gains 80/110/140 movement speed bonus and has the capability to pass through most terrain(obviously not the walls surrounding the rift. Also, he cannot travel inside a wall, he can only move directly through walls, much like champions dashing through or jumping over walls. His next auto attack will slow for 10/20/40%. This scales at level 6/11/16.

Q: Malevolent Flurry: 7/6.5/6/5.5/5: Xerius sends a flurry of shadows slashing through a cone in a targeted direction(200 Range). Malevolent Flurry deals 40/60/90/140/180(+.4 AD)(+.25 AP). Malevolent Flurry can critically strike and applies on-hit effects. With 50 Force of Shadow, this ability deals 2x damage in 400 range of Xerius

W: Inner Strength: 14/13/12/10/7 seconds: Xerius draws his shadows into himself, granting him 8/16/24/32/50 bonus armor and magic resist. Xerius also gains bonus attack damage and lifesteal .05/.1/.15/.2/.25(%Bonus AD and lifesteal). This lasts for 3 seconds. With 50 Force of Shadow, the Attack damage bonus is doubled at the Lifesteal bonus is Tripled.

E: Shadow Maelstrom: 18/17/16/15/14 seconds: A cloud of Shadow blades lasting for 3 seconds is created in a target location. Shadow Maelstrom slows enemies by 15% and deals(40/80/150/300/450) damage over 3 seconds(+.4 Ap/Sec) and reduces enemy champions vision. With 50 Force of Shadow, Shadow Maelstrom allows Xerius to be untargetable from auto attacks and targeted abilities while out of combat while inside Shadow Maelstrom.

R: Rage of the Night: 180/150/120 seconds: Xerius teleports to an enemy champion, silencing them for (.75/1/1.25) seconds, and gains a percent of his current attack damage(+.30/.50/.70) and bonus lifesteal (.25/.50/.75%) for 2.5 seconds. This ability can only be used while at 100 Force of Shadow, and Gives you up to 5 empowered abilities over the 3 second duration. The cooldown of this ability is not affected by CDR.

TL;DR Passive: similar to rage, a combination of renekton and shyvana’s resource system Gives massively increased MS and the ability to travel through terrain after being out of combat for a long periodof time. Q: Main damage ability, deals damage in a targeted direction. When empowered by passive, deals 2x dmg in an area around Xerius. W: Gives Xerius increased armor, mr, lifesteal, and attack damage for a short duration. When empowered by passive, grants 2x ad and 3x lifesteal E: Creates an area in which enemy champions are slowed, have limited vision and are dealt damage over time. When empowered by passive, Xerius becomes untargetable by auto attacks and targeted abilities while inside it.
R: Can only be used when resource bar is full. A gapcloser which silences and gives Xerius massively increased attack damage and lifesteal. Has an extremely long Cooldown and is not affected by CDR

Upon respawn: Even I am glad when some shadows are lifted

That's really broken. He can have too much ad, while building ap, and just auto people to oblivion wile nuking them with abilities. The e-leveling scaling is ridiculous, like 40, then 70, then 150, then 150 is too much. The q cooldown shouldn't be reduced by attack speed. I mean, it already works so well with Yasuo (not really).

Good concept, but too much for one kit.
