Blue/Light Moon Lucian (Counter to Blood Moon)

We all know that Lucian's greatest enemy is Thresh. SO since Thresh got his new skin of "Blood Moon Thresh" , and since they are sworn enemies, why not make a counter to the fresh skin? Blue Moon Lucian would be a counter because Red for dark and mysterious, Blue/Light moon for Heroism and Justice. Red vs Blue clashing at each other would look slick. I think Lucian should look kinda like Draven's skin, "Soul Reaver Draven". Another point I would like to bring up is that Blood Moon and Blood Moon came out with each other, Another Blue/Light Moon skin will have to counter Kalista. I would think that would be a good contender of one of the Blue/Light Moon skins because He it all about betraying his own people for power, which hates with a undying passion. Some other contenders are: ; all have to do with Betraying another person.

TLDR: Blue/Light Moon to counter Blood Moon.

If I recall correctly, a "Blood Moon" is another way of saying a Lunar Eclipse. The opposit would be a Solar Eclipse. Perhaps you could look for a name more closely tied to that? If you can, then Diana could get a skin in the same line (her blocking the Solari or something).

So instead of Blue Moon, more like Solar-Purifier Lucian? or something like that

So these skins could have to do with the cycles of moons. They don't have to be opposites because they both will have a sense of mystery to them.

A blue moon is when a month has 2 moons, and then second moon is referred to as a blue moon. Yet, it also means that, in a season with 4 moons, the 3rd one is a blue moon. The first one is probably the more likely of the two we have heard of if you have ever heard reference to a blue moon, or learned its definition.

So, one of Lucian's guns could be a full moon in theme (white), and the other gun, his 2nd gun could be blue, in reference to the blue moon.

Blue also has something to do with the word Belewe, which means to betray, respectively, Betrayer Moon.

The Lucian skin could have a statement like "Once in a blue moon..." and then something to continue.

What if these champions were in with the new Warden/Inquisitor skin line? I don't know, I was just thinking that the Blue Moon might be too similar to the Warden skin, but since I lack creative art skills, that would be up to others to actually think about.

I got Blue/Light moon to counter the Red Moon skins. I thought that the Blue Moon would be all herioc-like with blue radiance coming off of them, much like Blood Moon Thresh. Warden/Inquistior is more like armored up and ready to go, not glowey and spooky

I see what you mean. You mentioned it being like Soul Reaver Draven, but if both are spooky, you want to make them different from just another ghost story. You should see about coming up with some cool lore or splash art for your idea. If you can't find any splash art, maybe try to be as descriptive as possible. That would really catch my interest.

Because Lucian is "The Purifier," maybe go with that theme. They are ghost stories to citizens of the land, yet untold heroes in their struggle against the shadow isles. They might be shunned by all other factions, and be some secret organization. I don't know, play around with some lore.

Maybe, if Riot ever considered this, when the two skins come together, there is some contrasting action on the sides. Like, when Lucian and Thresh are in combat, special animations could occur for every time they deal damage to each other. The blue could push at the red, and vice versa, like two strong wind fronts moving against each other, trying to gain the upper hand, and when one dies, there could also be a potetial for a special death/victory animation.

If even half of what I said with the skins was to come about, they would probably be 1820 RP skins. This idea is growing on me, mainly because Lucian as a champion is growing on me and I want to buy him, but I really am liking the idea.

I see what you mean. I also like the idea of that they have special interactions w/ each other b/c of the clashing skins. I would want to see Lucian as a more heroic figure but also Shadow-like. For Example: Lucian's Guns would have a blue-like venom creeping up on his guns to resemble his heroism coming out of him into his guns. I provided a quick-paint idea seeing how this could work. I would like to see Lucian's power coming from himself into his Guns. Almost like Varus's model with his bow attached and seething into him. Like veins in a body.
