Statistics in sociology show that this generation of "cyber teens" are mostly all talk and no walk. Don't forget their precious Summoner's Rift! That map is all they care about. They even said so in the Dominion removal "description" (I still think they did it because of the flow of bots there, and removing the map entirely was decidedly the easiest option - like they did with the RAF program):

"...stick around and join us on the Rift..."

I dunno, but I haven't seen a Rioter on the Rift, like, ever, so that statement feels quite pretentious. :/

I also heard the sound of "my precioussss...." when I read that part.

All they would have to do is replace a small piece a terrain with the statue to make it work. It doesn't even have to be significant, it can be broken down and moss-covered, but so long as the tribute is there then the dominion players will find the feeling of respect and acknowledgement from it.

We want hide and seek though. Plus dominion was built for capture the flag as their is point system and capturing the flags isn't as simple as walking on them but pushing the waves and all. And one of the players has to be skarner and they would thus have an unfair advantage due to the MS and everything else they get from the spires.

This would be really great and I love the idea. The idea reminds me of the Urf grave and coffins with cancelled releases on the old Harrowing Rift, but maybe that's just because the graphics are from the same time period.

Seriously, it'd just be great to replace a small piece of terrain or add a texture (like the Darkin mural at the entrance to blue buff or the mural on top lane.) Just something small and subtle would work. Even if a minority of players played Dominion frequently, I'm hit just with nostalgia from late nights when I wanted something really, really short to play. This is probably the best way to pay respect to the game mode.
