Kim, The Void's Architect. or Kim, the Void's Artist, or even Kim, the Void's Vector.

Soon I’ll be making videos explaining my idea, they’re quite complex. This idea means a lot to me, so give me a chance to motivate you as much as I am about this Champion. We are talking about a dream here, a real one. So, please, read it with attention, I am sure you will like the Champion, even if you only like a bit of it. Oh, and Kim comes from Nankin, the "China Ink".
But, who the hell is Kim? Here we go:
Kim before the Void: A ruined father, a corrupted prophet and a lost daughter.

Long ago, a fragile girl named Kim used to live peacefully with her father, Kassadin. People said she always had a complicade routine, since Kassadin couldn’t give her too much attention because he prefered to search for forbidden knowledge from Runeterra. Sadly for Kim, this search always seemed more important to him than his own daughter. As an only child, the only thing she loved more than her father was art. She spent days and nights in front of her easel, trying to create abstract concepts of what she called “Glimpses of another world” somehow, Kim was painting the way to her own misfortune, and she didn’t know it”. For the girl’s delight, Kassadin felt intrigued, how could her innocent daughter imagine things called abstract and that was quite similar to what he so much studied about another dimension, the Void? His researches were confined with security so only him could make some use of it, so how could she know about something?In the end, he thought it was only a coincidence and kept focused in what the believed it was so close to be discovered. Each day that passed, Kassadin was closer to taste the Void, once and for all and as a real threat. And inevitably, Kassadin’s tireless researches has come to a last step, his own disappearance Now the poor Kim was left alone, her art, despised. Her heart, empty. Solitude sheltered her. She was deeply searching for beyond eternity, searching for something that could fill the hole left in her heart. Lost, Kim wandered without a destination... Directly to Icathia, where she was found almost dead by a group of misterious people, who immediatley took her to their leader, a hooded man, with glowing eyes and a strange power that emanates from him. Taking her as his own daughter, the man was, in fact, the real motive of Kim’s misfortune, it was Malzahar, the prophet of the void, who told her how he Always knew about her gift and that now, with him by her side, her art would finally achieve a new level of acceptance. Kim was amazed, but only if she knew that the art Malzahar was talking about was the void inside her... If she only knew that the prophet himself had put the curse inside her... since the beginning. Finally, Malzahar took her to a last ritual. The prophet unsheathed his dagger and stabbed her chest, hitting deeply the void that lived inside Kim, a new Portal to the Void was created. Kim’s body was sent to the true darkness. When she opened her eyes, she saw that she was left inside the Void itself. Kim spent the equivalent of an eternity inside the Void. Of all of her exiles, this one was the most destructive to an empty soul. All the possibles destinies of suffering she experienced were more than enough to convince her that all of this must have a meaning. Now, the curse and the Void were the only truth for her. The Void’s inconsistency was unbearable for a human mind, so resist the curse Malzahar put on her was useless. Instead of resisting it, she embraced it. Hear heart turned to a purê black, full of hate and solitude, bombing dark energies instead of blood, the ink that now she would need more than ever. This ink became her blood, coursing through her own existence, taken by an endless charge of malefic visions. By the end, huge changes happened in her own body, like na answer for the conditions of the Void and to the portal inside herself. Once she noticed her new power, Kim understood all of Malzahar’s intentions. The Void really was the only truth. But even so, it wasn’t enough to free her from her rancor, the trauma and the pain that ambushed her. Thegirl was determined to accomplish her destiny, but still wishes to pulverize who has caused her so much pain. Kim finally returns to Runeterra, tarnished by a malefic power, invoking creatures to the world the same creatures who haunts her thoughts. Kassadin was once again intrigued, Kim still wishes for his attention, but this time, this could only be a big threat, what she really wanted, is that everyone knew what the Void really was and what it could do to reality. She now wants to paint the Void into Runeterra.

Interlude: Kim as a champion http://i.imgur.com/yqJROUX.jpg Kim's idea is all about a jungler who relies on the player's capability of predicting the situation in which he will have to participate. With strong engaging/desengaging, she must also have versatility to enter different roles, if prepared. Like Batman! But if not prepared, Kim's kit must have a high cost tool to escape an unfortunate situation. But most of all, it must be given to the player** a new mechanism of creativity**, in which her skill's characteristics, sequency, combinartion and supply(as also repetition) would be taken as strategical choices, while building a kind of condition that inicially leaves her vulnerable, but then gives up her strategy to unleashe a extreme, agressive, but risky stage. Also important: All of this relates to her concept, in every way. It is all resumed in one single word: Ink.
PS: I see this skill set as a crazy but beautiful shot in the dark. Even though any alternate ideas all around this model would still be aweasome.
Kim’s Odd Skill Set: Notes: • Make sure to look up her ultimate immediately after reading her passive. It is her main mechanism, and she starts the game with it. • Do not be scared of how different this is. I still believe it fits very well in League’s mechanic. • Try not to hype too much. I had problems with that. Yay! Skill Set!!! Passive: Curse of Sepia Outflow: Kim spends HP to paint with Catharsis, converting any spent into her Outflow bar points. Outflow bar starts empty,
Cursed Sting: Kim’s basic attacks consume Outflow to apply a weak venom, which lasts for a while, damaging overtime and reducing the afflicted enemy’s resistance to crowd control effects. Abstinence: When the Ouflow bar gets full, Kim's ultimate turns into Extravasation. Until Extravasation is cast, Outflow bar is locked, and Kim enters a stage of ink Abstinence, ganing bônus movement speed, attack speed, and some kind of HP return. In this stage, Kim can still attack and cast, but not use Catharsis. Bonus concept suggestion - Abstinence bonuses could be proportional either to max Outflow, or to how many charged Living nightmares Kim has.
- All of Kim's normal skills have that charge mechanic, just like Zyra's W or Vi's E. But instead of waiting for it to charge, the very own player must charge them with her Ultimate, Catharsis. Every skill could have a limit of maybe 3 charges each(even if only on it's max level). Although, successive charging without controlling Outflow bar could make it quickly go full and block further charging, stablishing a primordial limit, and so forcing the player to create a strategy. His own strategy!
Q: (Charging-mechanic Skill) Living Nightmare: Atony
Notes: • When using Catharsis to draw(charge) a Bloater, the player determines the length of that Bloater’s linear trajectory to follow when it is cast later. • A Bloater appears to me as a chubby and very slow creature, which would inflate, so an octopus-like thing makes a good fit. Then, those kinds could just float around, grow, and then pop on enemies’ faces. Summons a Bloater, which taunts enemies it touches. It charges in a determined linear direction, and then starts searching for a target. Bloaters can be targeted, and block projectiles. Being hit makes it inflate, until it explodes, interrupting channelings and causing magic damage proportionally to the damage taken.
W: (Charging-mechanic Skill) Living Nightmare: Fear
Notes: • When using Catharsis to draw(charge) a Swarm, the player determines the trajectory’s linear shape that swarm will follow when it is cast. • About Swarms, they could fly in a chaotic pace and even make chaotic sounds, being either wasps or just flying voidlings. Casts a Swarm that follows a determined trajectory for very few seconds, fearing enemies along its course. Bonus concept suggestion 1- If a swarm reaches a Bloater, the Bloater absorvs it and turns into a Hive, which will immediately return the damage taken through vengeful swarm creatures, just like an thornmail. Bonus concept suggestion 2- Instead of turning into a thornmail, the Hive could also apply fear combined with it's explosion. Bonus concept suggestion 3- Why not both?
**E: (Charging-mechanic Skill) Living Nightmare: Pain **
Notes: • When using Catharsis to draw(charge) a Reaper, the player determines its range, and so the adittional bonuses. • I picture a Reaper as a scythe-like thing, in a snake-like shape, as a mutation of the Nether Vector itself. Summons a Reaper in Kim’s Nether Vector for a determined duration. While possessing a Reaper, Kim gains bonus basic attack range and Cursed Sting’s base damage. Up to 3 reapers can be summoned in the Nether Vector, stacking the extra range and damage, although each stack will consume more Outflow with each basic attack. Bonus concept suggestion - With a Reaper, Kim could somehow interact with a Bloater to either accelerate or decelarate its explosion.
R: Catharsis/Extravasation
Notes: •Kim starts with her ultimate. •Extravasation has its own cooldown, otherwise it would be OP. _ Ouflow bar is not full: Catharsis: Kim opens her scroll to draw, gaining extra vision range. If hidden, Kim draws much faster. If she moves or enters combat, the process is ceased. Activate again to close the scroll. When Outflow is full and Kim enters Abstinence:** Extravasation**_: Kim consumes her whole Outflow bar to spit out a great ink cloud while knocking herself free of effects. Enemies caught are afflicted with Cursed Sting, heavily slowed, and cannot see Kim for a while. Instead, enemies only see a discreet trail of ink stains left by her movement.
So, about Kim's concepts, looks and symbols:
Working for all this time, under passion and not pressure, gave me many chances to rethink and recreate Kim until I reached my very own limit. So, Kim assembled her symbols over time, that now represent her whole concept and story, which are explicit in just her image. Those symbols are resumed by: *Her tearful ink-stained face, and her big, live and rapacious eyes.
*Her agressive claws
*Her hoodie that represents her timidity, and makes reference to Malzahar
*Her long hair that grew by her time inside the void
*Her beefy huge scroll
*Some bionic armor, made into scales, relating respectively to both her daddy, Kassadin, and her wild and agressive side.
Kim's kit would bring brand new features to league's gameplay, as she provides endless combinations of engaging and desengaging, as also taking different roles depending on what she needs - or at least predicts she'll need. Her whole gameplay could be said in one word, ganking, so that's why i though of her being a jungler, or even a toplaner or midlaner if you wish to break the meta a little bit :)
Here could be some void champions' interactions:
: Inevitably, daddy still loves his little girl. But this doesn't stop him from knowing how to punish her and control all her crisi. I think Kass should take a position of somehow regreting having to hurt her if he needs too, but also knowing how to do it very well. Besides, he's a great counter to her. And Kim should act like hardly admitting she still cares about him, but still taking a stand against him. I think of interactions like: If allied: "That's a little bit awkward" "So, Daddy, how do you like my maturity?" "This doesn't change how i'm still mad with you" If enemies: "I'm sorry Daddy, but i do have to do this." "I don't wanna hurt you, Daddy." "You should be the one to understand me the most, Daddy!"
: Uncle Malz sees Kim as a perfect weapon, and even envies Kass for being her father. Even though Kim now supports Malzahar's side, she still wants to hurt him real real bad for putting through all of that suffering. If allied: "At least we are fighting for the same cause, aren't we?" "I'm still going to hurt you badly after this" "Don't feel bothered if i accidently humilliate you, Malzahar." If enemies: "Time to settle accounts" "I'll show you how it is done, Malzahar!" "Relax, i'm just gonna hurt you real, real, bad."
: Kim thinks every single creature of the void is a real masterpiece. "Those blades...Those wings... Those spikes.. Sigh!" "And you even do evolve? Marvellous!"
: Kim understands Cho'Gath light sensibility. "I know how you feel, Cho'Gath." "Hurts, doesn't it?"
: Kim dreams about Rek'Sai's claws every night. "Stay still so i can draw you!" "I really wish i have drawn ya."
: Kim could have a misterious past with this one. "I love your eyes, Vel. I have them painted on my clothes" "Do you have any new knowledge about what i can do now, Vel?"
: Kim finds Kog'Maw the only creation of Malzahar that really does something: "How cute!" "Only by accident, isn't it Malz?
