Surrendering teammates should lose or not get any LP if the game is won.

I had lots of game where a player wanted to surrender like 5 times in a game because he felt like he lost the game. Guess what, we won, we didn't give up and played as good as we could.

So why did that one player gained LP for trying to give up??? He/she should lose lp or not gain any.

Did he play the game? Did he contribute to your victory? Then he should get LP for the win, even if he didn't think the game was winnable.

If he was actually trying to help you despite wanting you to surrender it would be an injustice not to give him lp.

Happens all the freaking time... Trying to surrender because they aren't carrying. Essentially they're on the enemy team at that point imo.

The flip side can also be annoying though... I was trapped in an ARURF game for like 30 minutes because my team wouldn't surrender, lost all our towers by 15 but nobody was closing the game because it was "fun" to get farmed like minions and run around the map.

They don't get as much.

People like that, who give up constantly at the drop of a hat, often have lower MMR than those that don't. Meaning, they don't gain LP as fast as those who play the game.

But they still won, and a win is a win.
