Lore : this is Ravine https://gyazo.com/092947ac3abcf8e01dfc4b74272e2ab8 Ravine is a young man in the outskirts of shurima living with certain nomads in the area , unaware of his Star King blood line he live his days enjoying and romantacizing the splendor of his youth , making up names for his attacks or techniques , frequently entering shuriman colleseum tournaments as he enjoys the prospects of won prizes ( especially parts that are related from zaun or piltover ) one day he realizes that he has galactic powers that are surreal and not fit for the world of runaterra , it was almost " Galactic " in nature and the aura shines with great splendor he before he can ask the nomads he lived his whole life with about his origin they were attacked by an elder lizard who spewed a big chunk of lava goblet at them killing and disintegrating them on the spot , ever since.. he lived in isolation ( but he's still pretty flashy with his moves ) until he deems it safe to tell anyone about his origin or if they even know anything about his powers . " most of them weep from not achieving what they want to become , but dont realize it would give them the greatest of joy and peace to finally know who they really are " - an unusually sentimental Ravine

Champ abilities

Passive skill : " Surfacing origin " : Ravine doesnt use mana but will have a resource bar that fills up to ( 300 ) slowly while he's moving attacking or using his abilities

basic attack : generates 5 points , using abilities : 2.5 points but doubles when hitting an enemy unit and triples when hitting a champ , Moving : constant 1 point per 1 .5 seconds and doubles with a fully upgraded boots

" Wyrm Startler " ( Q ) quickly dash to a location ( 400 range ) upon colliding with a champion , Ravine quickly taps the enemy champ for .75 sec mini stun before spinning into a quick roundhouse slash with his blade which deals 100/150/200/250/300 physical damage +125% of his total attack damage 9.5/9/8.5/8/7.5 sec cooldown

" Star King mode " ( W ) : https://gyazo.com/89bcd22773a83ea5677be0406000a99d Ravine taps into the power of his Star King origins in his own unpolished and reckless way ( but still effective enough ) to bolster his combat abilities ! , this ability will deplete Surfacing origin bar by 15 points per second and Ravine will turn back to normal once the bar hits 0 , effects gained while in this state : + 40% movement speed +40% attack speed + Ravine Exploitation ( The first basic attack on a Champion will Critically strike for 250% damage ) + 15 % attack damage + Star King carpet : whatever Ravine is doing will leave a trail that will damage enemy units by 15 true damage over 3.5 seconds , + 10 % CDR + Star king blur : every 3 seconds in this state you will completely dodge 1 basic attack or a skillshot projectile that is about to hit you , + 15% Crit chance , this ability has 60/58/56/54/52 sec cooldown

" Stress the Raptor " (E ) : with Ravine's freeze pocket pistol , he quickly shoots a freezing shell in front of him freezing an enemy in place by .50 sec mini snare followed by a fade away circular slash of his blade dealing ( 80/110/140/170 + 80% of total AD physical damage shattering the freeze crystal and launching himself by ( 400 range ) back wards while slowing the slashed enemy affected by the freeze shell for 25/50/75/100 % slow for 1.25 sec , the freeze shell with travel a short distance ( 325 ) if it doesnt hit a unit directly in front of you and would disappear , this has 15/14.5/14/13.5/13 sec Cooldown

" Ravine Revolver " ( R ) Ravine readies his flashiest attack yet ! , ( can only be used while in Star King state ) Ravine concentrates his will and vanity towards his trusty Blade which together with his Star King powers transforms it into an enormous blade and after a very short delay slams it in front of him ( 1000 range ) dealing 350/450/550 + 100 % total attack damage and as the sword returns to its normal state a big cone of Crimson Cosmic energy radiates ( 2000 range ) in front that lingers for 5 seconds and is treated as " Star King carpet " also , using Ravine Revolver will instantly deplete " surfacing origin " immediately stripping you of the effects of " Star King mode "

Hmm... So since base stats are not particularly important to know I don't mind people just skipping them. Honestly it helps de-clutter some posts.

I do find a few problems with his kit.

First off: good job on the overall concept man [slayer-pantheon-thumbs]

Now on to his Passive and W: Other champions have alternate/no resource so making his entire passive just his Surfacing Origin which doesn't affect him directly is way too weak for a passive. While his W is unfortunately overloaded. I understand that it's geared to be a huge boost in a ton of different ways, but it needs condensed down. I will come back to how to condense it later. Surfacing Origin should be increased by distance traveled(in units like... 150 units moved per point increased. 1.5 Karthus Qs) instead of time spent moving, doing this makes it easier to understand and allows Ghost and other movement increasing effects to help him out.

Q should probably have lower base damage, as you can attack->Q->attack for a lot of damage. And it has a decent gap closer. This will prevent tank builds from being too strong, the 125% ratio is enough for big damage. Given this is also technically a skill shot in order to deal damage, so that's why I think the 125% can stay. Alternatively you can keep the base damage and swap it over to BONUS AD scaling, to make building AD items more impactful.

E is perfectly fine. And can go into the Q dash pretty nicely for a good combo.

R does have a small telegraphed portion to warn of the slash, allowing evasive abilities to be used. Though I don't know the width of the 1st slash to really critique properly. Width determines acceptable damage.

Now... Back to W/Passive. I recommend these changes:

Passive skill : " Surfacing origin " : Ravine doesnt use mana but has a resource bar that fills up to 300; moving, attacking, or using his abilities will fill up this bar. basic attack : +5 points Using abilities : +5 points, 7.5 when hitting an enemy unit, and 10 when hitting a champ. Moving : +1 per 150 units traveled.

Every 20 seconds Ravine gains "Ravine Exploitation". Basic attacks lower the cooldown by 0.5 seconds. Ravine Exploitation: The next basic attack on a Champion will Critically strike for 150% damage

" Star King mode " ( W ) : Requires 100 Surfacing Origin to activate. Ravine taps into the power of his Star King origins in his own unpolished and reckless way ( but still effective enough ) to bolster his combat abilities ! , this ability depletes Surfacing Origin by 20 points per second, retuning Ravine back to normal once the bar hits 0. Effects gained while in this state : +40% movement and attack speed. +15% Crit chance. Ravine Exploitation deals +50% damage(225%). Star King Blur: every 3 seconds Ravine turns invisible for 0.5 seconds. Star King Carpet: Ravine leaves a trail that lasts 3.5 seconds, enemies caught in the trail take 5 true damage every 0.5 seconds. This ability has 30/28/26/24/22 sec cooldown

So changes instituted: Changed blur to an invisibility instead to offer confusion but not make it seem unfair "oh it JUST came up and blocked my ability?" Allowing for you to pop up elsewhere and surprise them with E or Q. Removed 15% damage increase, as increasing his passive is strong enough. Made a requirement for activating to avoid people activating it just for 1 enhanced passive and then running. You'll still gain resource while in Star King Mode, so it can last a little long. Was already at 20 seconds from full resource... So I changed it to 15s total, given you'll probably gain about 5s worth in that time.

Though I also recommend swapping one of the last two effects from SKM to only get added in as a passive from R. Like this: R Active: [What the active does] Passive: while in Star King Mode gain Star King Carpet. Star King Carpet: Ravine leaves a trail that lasts 3.5 seconds, enemies caught in the trail take 5/10/15 true damage every second.

That would also tie in nicely to: him discovering more powers. His ultimate having a carpet effect at the end.
