Only defenders can buy the flash upgrade and Siege weapons are super cheap ( you hide in the bush that you setup the weapon in and camp it ) you try and kill the weapon enemy one shots you you don't and you lose a turret
Well at least both teams get to try their had and both offense and defense.
The game still has some issues, one in particular I've come across and feel screwed as a result. For this match, we went on defense first and successfully defended for all 20 min. We lost everything except for the two nexus turrets. When we went for offense, we also made it to the 20 min cut off, but actually destroyed their nexus turrets and was just about to touch their nexus when time ran out. Then we see...DEFEAT...Even though we destroyed more turrets and did better on offense than they did, we still lose. Kinda bullshit, but whatever.
On your points, I don't really have a problem with not having the flash upgrade on offense. I mean the offense weapons are ranged and much more difficult to deal with so the flash kinda makes up for it.
I think once people figure all the things out, how to charge the super laser, how to use all the special items, etc., the game might seem more balanced.
