Volibear rework ideas

I had a discussion with in the Volibear mains discord server at potential rework ideas and this is what came to my mind

So currently Volibear is a lightning bear and that is his whole thing right? the problem is in the current lore Volibear seems more like a war bear, i had an idea on how to make those ideas coexist

I present a form switch Volibear! imagine Gnar but instead of a transformation its like comparing shadow assassin Kayn to darkin Kayn his passive gives him a resource bar that as it fills changes him from a war bear to a lightning bear. the war bear would be a brown bear and as he gets closer to transforming his coat changes color to white. the lightning bear gets an area of effect chain lightning attack on his first attack on a target and the warrior bear gets a slow this does not work like miss fortune love tap as it has a cool down for each target so you cant just spam it in team fights

the q is a flip still as it is his most distinctive ability in warrior bear it grounds them after the flip the point of this is to mimic his current e which cancels dashes. in lightning bear you gain move speed when you activate it and the flip distance scales with move speed (think Warwick ult but the ratio is way lower) and you lose the move speed immediately after flipping them.

the w is another one of his distinctive abilities as the attack speed helps with his clear and the execute brings a lot of damage to team fights and duels the idea i had in mind was for the bite to heal you when in warrior bear form and to give you stacking Armour and magic resist each auto attack (think graves true grit) the point of gaining the resistances was so that you could duel effectively as him and the heal is to mimic his current passive. in lightning bear the w is virtually the same as his current one as it gives the stacking attack speed and the execute bite.

the e shields him and and gives him move speed in both forms and passively gives him out of combat move speed (the idea behind the move speed is to encourage him to be played as a jungler while still giving him room to be played as a top laner for roaming) in warrior bear his next attack after the ability activates fears the target instead of slowing them like the passive normally does, and in lightning bear the shield does area of effect damage when it is destroyed

the ultimate passively gives enhanced stats for each form (warrior gets tank stats lightning bear gets move speed and attack speed) and when activated it empowers Volibear giving him a enhanced move speed and on hit healing scaling with his maximum health as well as lowering his cool downs each auto attack.

So those are my ideas i am very open to criticism about this the kit is very overloaded and i would appreciate new ideas on what to keep and what to change. i appreciate you reading this and have a nice day!

So you just straight out buffed him, gavd him more statcheck,but didn't add counterplay?

1 how do you stack the passive 2 voli mains are gonna altogether buff him which is fine cause thats what happened to ww 3 how do you play against him

Form switch makes no sense for Volibear, I just want armoured lightning bear concept to be brought out more rather than only on his ultimate. I will make my own post for the ability kit concept because it be too long for a comment (plus easier to get feedback and make changes to it that way).

Q being flipping the table I say is the only thing that should be considered being kept around to some degree, everything else changed, and his ultimate should be toned back and implemented as his new passive in some form. Everything else should be lightning and thunder related.

Besides from being kited easily, switching bite and chain lightning should be enough. Chain lightning on cd to use as wave clear OR additional damage and sacrifing waveclear when fighting on a range outside of the minions, damage may be tuned down but then increased against minions (and monsters?) to compensate. Bite tuned up wards, positively upwards in damage (no, not another true damage single target killer), and negatively increase in CD. Then I would almost feel fine...
