Ao Shin soon or what?

I know we're in the middle of U.R.F. and whatever else, so being busy is part of the job description, but Ao Shin was announced/teased/revealed 2 years ago. 4-5 months ago, we were told that he is in the far future. I don't see how far in the future you can wait. Seth the Sand Mage was shelved for about this long, and he made a great champ (a.k.a. Azir ). I just want to know how Riot can make amazing champs like Rek' Sai and Kalista (which took a bit for us to warm up to) in such a short amount of time, and yet take so long on making a champ that everyone is clearly wanting and wondering about. So which is it, soon or what? Yes, no, maybe so?

I don't really want to call Riot out on this, but I believe we deserve something. Even a little teaser here and there would be better than nothing. Tell us something because it's better than nothing. Anything. I'll take it. I've been a devoted fan of LoL since season 1 and before with DotA. We would like a little something to go with this champion that we are waiting for.

Reksai is not humanoid.

Indeed I too have awaited Ao Shin's arrival. For a while Riot just seemed to push out champions like how when they came out with Lucian, Gnar, Reksai, which is great and dandy but they aren't that unique mostly humanoid or monster champion designs have been used, not to mention recycled movesets with on hit effects and "every 3 aa" this happens. We want something new, with Ao Shin that would be a completely different play style given that he is a dragon. Honestly if they gave us more unique champions it wouldn't feel like every AP mage plays the same way or every adc has the same ability combo most of the time. Champions kits should reward you for using different combos and instill new effect for every possible combo used. However that is just what I think

That's the last thing we got about Ao Shin, if I remember correctly: http://www.surrenderat20.net/2014/11/red-post-collection-exploring-player.html#6

Yeah, that was November 27. About 4-5 months ago. I just think that they should've made some progress in that amount of time that they would tell us about.

speaking of these champs just pushes them deeper into the void... now we'll never see it.
