Blue Essence to Orange Essence?

I'll start this one off by saying I know that I personally am not one of, but am becoming one of the probably THOUSANDS of players who have over 100k+ blue essence and absolutely nothing to do with it. So I was just sitting here thinking and it dawned on me why doesn't Riot create a Blue to Orange conversion since Orange is the most useful and valuable of the two they could EASILY set it up so that like, every 1000 BE or something like that be worth something around 10-100 OE. Could even broaden those ratios so that its still a little grindy and would be balanced maybe? There's just no reason to have 100k+ BE and absolutely nothing to do with it except upgrade mastery here and there and the occasional champ release. Cause even with those people have still spiked their BE. At least with IP we could buy runes. Or maybe not even transfer BE to OE and find something else players can do with that outrageous abundance of BE. Or am I wrong?
