Animated loading screens?

I really liked this idea that I saw on Youtube.

I was hoping to get some opinions and shed some light on this concept because most MOBA's (or at least DOTA2) has an animated loading screen that looks really cool. I think it would add to the coolness of some ultra skins and make the loading screens fun to look at.

I think it would make things lag too much and make the loading time longer, most people just tab out of it anyway.

Maybe have it set as an option within the client
